Is the book being written by Omid Scobie and the other one with the knowledge and agreement of H&M? Sorry, I'm not up to speed. I thought H&M were using ghost writers to put their side forward and that it isn't being done without their knowledge. This is why I was amazed they're doing it as I can't imagine the queen being happy about it. It's like they've gone off piste. It's one thing Charles doing it with someone like Jonathan Dimbleby but H&M, no longer royal, again using the RF for their own ends. It's like they don't care about burning bridges (note to self - of course they don't, how much evidence do you need).

I would never have been asked to be a global ambassador for World Vision or an advocate for UN Women, both of which are honours I relish. While most become star struck by A-list actors, you'll only see me in awe of leaders effecting change. At least she knows how to use 'effecting' properly. As for the rest...

Ah ok Puzzled, thanks. For some reason I just assumed it was common knowledge it was being written by Omid Scobie with H&M's permission. I don't read everything about them in detail but I thought (perhaps wrongly) Omid was M's friend, or used to be, so I assumed he had their agreement. If that is the case they seem to put a lot of store in their friends not selling them out. If it comes out H&M are behind it surely that would warrant some action by the queen. What a mess.

Genuine question - has anyone seen any of her acting besides what she's done since getting with Harry and what was she like? Never watched Suits and don't intend to start. Just wondered if she was any good.

After all, she's not an unattractive woman, so if she was a half decent actress she might have made it further in Hollywood than she did.

I watched Notting Hill the other week and M in her "natural" state reminds me of Julia Roberts' acting. There were so many mannerisms and facial expressions done by Julia Roberts in the film that I've seen M do so I can only think M spends most of her time acting in real life.

I don't think it is just M though that this applies to.
