Dogs with human names

Martin. I just met a GSD called Martin.

Absolutely love dogs with human names but I think Martin for a GSD might be the best yet. Almost pipped by Gerald the Chihuahua.

Anyone else met any dogs with great human names?

I live next door to Frank the Rottweiler and I’ve met a Dave and Gary . Dogs with human names are fabulous.

A friend’s dog is called Jeff.

I’ve also met a Frank, Dave, Pamela and Audrey.

I've met a Labrador called Ian, a spaniel called Robbie and a retriever called Brian.

Oh, I've also met Jed and Kevin

I've got a friend who's dog is called Alfred. Usually known as Alfie.

I know two dogs called Audrey, one called Margot and one called Bella.

Best friends gorgeous lab is called Bess.

We know a Dave, a George and a Douglas.

All my animals have human names. I much prefer them to typical 'animal' names

All my parents dogs have/had human names . Bess, Gemma, Sky, Megan , Ellie , Flo and Annie .

Martin is cute bet he gets Marty 😍 my dog has a human name it isn't a funny one though!

I knew a dearly departed Sally and Phil, and now a little Milo

My dog is called Fred. I wanted to called him Reggie but the kids outvoted me but the best name I have come across is Colin 😂

My neighbour had a Yorkshire terrier called Betty

I know a shih tzu called Eamonn and Stephen, a ginger cat.

I once knew a cat called Dennis. 😹

Every cat should be called Dennis.

I know a pair of Whippets named Penelope and Margot. Also a Basset Hound named Douglas, he’s adorable!

Loving all these human names! I love it even more when the breed just feels like such a strange one to have that name! Dave for a lab or something like that!

I know a Goldie called Percival and a Springer called Clementine (both owned by the same person!)

I know a little rescue dog called Colin and recently came across a Rottweiler called Alan. I agree wonderful!!

My friends cat was called Dave

I knew someone with a dog called Paul when i was a teenager in the 80s. I think it was a miniature schnauzer. More recently I've met Betty a Great Dane and Nancy and Agatha who are border collie mixtures. All brilliant names!

Perhaps unfairly but I can imagine a Yorkie called Betty is probably a little sass monster and a princess!

I've got 2 labs Jasper and Freya. Someone I worked with had a grandson called Jasper.

Had a dog called Ben, ndn before had a son called Ben. When I was telling the dog to behave, ndn thought I was telling her son off 😂
