Worst programme ever?

I was in by myself last night and wanted something easy to watch so I tried that new Murder in Benidorm series on C5. OMG - what a load of drivel. Makes Death in Paradise seem like a Dicken’s adaptation. Bad acting and ridiculous plot (and I do watch some crap!).
What was John Hannah thinking taking the lead role? I got about halfway through and turned it off & went to bed in disgust!

Madame Blanc Mysteries and Departure are much, much worse.

I managed about 15 minutes of it. I also wondered why John Hannah got involved. Especially considering he'd been in Charlie Booker's detective show parody Touching Cloth

Yes those are all crap. It depends how you define "worst" surely Naked Attraction must be up there?

slot on bbc 2. Currently it’s celebs telling members of the public how to live healthier by having warm baths 3 times a week, eating a square of dark chocolate a night … the reactions of the members of the public say it all. Joanna page at a wild animal rescue place was another show which was on at that time which was bad

That knitting competition was awful I agree. I normally love stuff like that but didn’t last five minutes. I’m not really sure where it went so wrong!

Smugglie Queens utterly dire but got a second series

I managed to watch a whole episode of that Benidorm murder thing.
I am ashamed of myself. The acting was hopeless, the story was weak and overall it was unmitigated shite

Just came in tonight to watch something “light” whilst drinking a coffee- put this on as I had heard John Hannah was in a new detective show ….. OMG - is he bankrupt or in process of divorce and in desperate need of £ ? It makes Death in Paradise look like a RSC production - it is the wirsr thing I think I have ever watched

Haha I was outraged that no one had mentioned Mrs Brown’s Boys yet and @KnickerlessParsons saved the day!
I just loathe it, do people really watch it and laugh? I’ve only ever caught the first couple of minutes of it when it’s come on after something else and I honestly hate every second that I’ve seen, it’s as funny as stepping in dogshit.

I was surprised it hadn’t come in conversation too!

Yes Naked Attraction is terrible. Whenever it appears on my TV when channel hopping it is always at penis time

Madame Blanc Mysteries is rubbish and I don't usually mind a cheesy whodunnit. I was cringing watching the shit acting.

Back in the 70s there was a sitcom called Mind Your Language. This is what Wikipedia says about it: The show is set in an adult education college in London and focuses on the class in ESL, taught by Jeremy Brown, who teaches a group of enrolled foreigners. As I recall, the writers thought hearing foreigners speak was hilarious because they have funny accents and make mistakes when they try to speak English. The writers were wrong. It was excruciatingly bad.

Love Thy Neighbour was another horribly unfunny sitcom from the times. The 'humour' there was a white family finding that their new neighbours were black.

I've never watched more than a few seconds of Mrs Brown's Boys but I get the sense that it might be another in the same line as those abominations from the 70s.

I lasted one episode of Madam Blanc - utter tripe.
However, it was better than Love Rat which has to be the most awful pile of shite I've had the misfortune of watching.
Coincidentally both starred Sally Lindsay.

I don't watch any reality shows so can't comment on those.

Is that Deal or no Deal? There was SO MUCH hype about that when it started and when I finally saw it I was absolutely dumbstruck by the “format”. Opening boxes, that’s it.
