I was thinking about some tv shows I loved but realise that I hated the main characters in! My initial list is:

OITNB- I didn’t always hate Piper but I definitely did at times throughout!

Breaking Bad- hate Walter so much.

This Is England- I class Shaun as the main character and can’t stand him.

What about you?

No, definitely not. Imagine him with Lukas Matsson? He’d get eaten alive. And his huge but fragile ego wouldn’t be able to take it.

very true points.

Vic Mackey in "The Shield" was a real piece of work.

To be fair to the writers, the whole show opened clearly showing he was a corrupt murderer, and yet managed to get you rooting for him.

Ha, yes, to add to my list of everybody in BBC's Industry - everybody in The Shield! Awesome programme, terrible people!

the show billions, chuck was good, but it was the arrogance that because he saw axelrod as bad, that he could not see how his methods were similar as axe but that he did it for his own vengeance rather than the greater good.

basically it seems both men play god. Axe breaks the law to acquire billions, while Chuck breaks the law to satisfy a vindictive desire to win

Chuck’s dad was horrible wasn’t he?
And Chuck well he was a law unto himself.
I adored Wags and Dollar Bill.
But Bobby was the best….

in a way chucks dad and blackjack Foley were political realists from the politics side and chuck could have listend to their wisdom and chucks dad and Foley were correct about the bsdm being a private matter rather than a 3rd party.

however chucks dad and his affair that was wrong,

the thing with chuck was when he tried to blame axe for chuck losing most of what chuck had when its like chuck choose to battle axe, but yet chuck seemed to think it was axes fault and yes even if it was axes fault etc.

to a degree bobby was good, but when the chips were down he would even sacrifice wendy, which seemed overall he would protect number 1. as evidenced when he printed her bdsm material

taylor was great but axe did piss her about when promising her the money to invest and then playing around / trying to choose the when where and even how she invested it.

wags was funny and useful but business wise he was more axes bff

plus Michael prince did deserve a chance to be president, because even if he was arragont if he got in power he would still need to build alliances with others etc its not just his way so to speak

The Handmaid's Tale. I thought the TV series was excellent (well, the first couple of seasons, anyway), but was it despite Elisabeth Moss's mannered and annoying portrayal. Not that I disliked the character, rather, the actor.
