Which tv shows that you loved did you hate the main character?

I was thinking about some tv shows I loved but realise that I hated the main characters in! My initial list is:

OITNB- I didn’t always hate Piper but I definitely did at times throughout!

Breaking Bad- hate Walter so much.

This Is England- I class Shaun as the main character and can’t stand him.

What about you?

TBBT, in the beginning Sheldon was wholly unlikeable and I felt sorry for Leonard but by the end i really liked Sheldon and thought Leonard was a dick. Don't get me started on Kripke, I skip all the episodes he is in, worst character ever created.

Oh and another one is Sarah Braverman from the Parenthood. Hate how she runs back to Seth any time he reappears 😩

Flasheart in Blackadder. Absolutely could t stand the character.

Loved Sesame Street; hated Big Bird

Booth in Bones. Just wet. Especially once he and Bones got together, I suppose you got to see his soft side, but he came across as misogynistic and a bit thick.

Even when Kripke sung ‘At Last’ at Sheldon’s wedding??

I mean every episode he is in, i cannot stand the douche-bag at all. I even prefer Lesley Winkle to him and hate her too.

Oh no, I love Kripke. 'I'm going to walk out the room backwards for dramatic effect'.

No, he had some of the best lines.

For example:

George: My God!
Flash: Yes, I suppose I am.

Hiya Nursie, you look sexy, am i pleased to see you or did I just put a canoe in my pocket, Down, boy down.

Bob: Sir, I've come to pick you up.
Flask: That's how I like my women, well if it isn't Bobby Parker. Saucier than a direct hit on a Heinz factory!

I like Scrubs but JD was an irritating, whiny, self-obsessed manchild. I like pretty much all of the supporting characters, especially Dr Cox, but JD can fuck off.

A book/ film not a TV show, and not exactly main character: Grandpa Jo. What a dick head. He sat in bed doing nothing literally for years while his daughter (or daughter in law?) worked herself into exhaustion. Then an opportunity arose for an amazing once in a lifetime day out and suddenly he is capable again, dancing around the place. Mrs Bucket should have been invited, she deserved it more.

Vic Mackey in "The Shield" was a real piece of work.

To be fair to the writers, the whole show opened clearly showing he was a corrupt murderer, and yet managed to get you rooting for him.

I’ve always thought that Gavin and Stacey were the most boring people in Gavin and Stacey. Selfish individuals.

Rory at uni and beyond... Emily was pretty great actually lol

@pinkponie Walter was omg especially blowing the superlab when he could have ran the operations etc in the end just a 2 bit crook.

i loved lalo his personality, and gus was my favourite

holy molly, lesley was a good counter to Sheldon's arrogance krikpy was ok not my fav but still good,

for me it was Stuart that seemed the omg character ev even in ugly betty Stuart was an ass,
