S3E11 Spoilers ahead
Well it was a nostalgic episode this week, feels like a lot of threads are being tied up. I cried more than once.
Storylines
Well I guess we’re all gonna cry seeing what Lisette has done to the apartment. I stopped watching 15mins ago and I’m still cross at the cheap workmanship. However, we now draw a line under the place. As does Carrie.
I do think that Herbert’s storyline might get dark next week.
Loving Seema and Adam. He’s a keeper.
I loved the gay proposal in Bergdorf Goodman - did not see the cold feet coming (although I should’ve because I did the same thing in Ibiza once 😂)
Loved Charlotte’s honesty about how she was feeling at Rock looking more Rose. And it’s fair to say, that kid can sing and dance 👏
Will Carrie buy the basement apartment? She’d be a fool not to. Will Duncan return next week to give us a happy ever after? I hope so.
Didn’t love Harry’s manipulation of the Thanksgiving. I guess we’re gonna have a lot more penis news next week…meanwhile The stuffing sounds intriguing.. definitely one up on Paxo 😂 Poor Miranda’s gonna end up eating pie for days seeing as everyone is bailing. Loved Joy not interfering in the row with Brady, and obviously loved the gorgeous dogs.
Did not love the creepy principal. Loved Mrs Fish from the Gilded Age popping up as the editor.
Fashion
Some lovely pieces this week for Carrie. And we got a trip into her old closet.. Yay! I loved the blue coat affair at the end. And the green number she wore to the kids play. Even Miranda’s clothes were ok this week. Definitely did not love the weird indeterminate length kilt. And what in the holy name of all things DFS is Carrie furnishing that apartment with? It looked like a page from the ‘terrible estate agent’s photos’ website where all of the ‘lonely chairs of solitude’ have convened together in one place. Nothing is cohesive. It could be stunning.
all in all, a satisfying watch for me, but it was only 37 minutes so I hope next week’s is a long one!
Epilogue
The Woman wondered just how on earth her diary-like drivel ever got published. Then she realised sharing her purple prose thoughts that should’ve stayed unread was the reason she was alone in her garden.
