I feel exactly the same about SJP. She's so beautiful, but has had loads of horrible shit because she has strong features and isn't conventionally pretty. Very underrated actress. Wears the living hell out of every single outfit and pair of shoes they put her in. I saw her on stage last year and it was such a thrill!

@ConstantlyFuriosa I know what you mean about the feud, I never saw SJP in the same way again after that famous Instagram post. I don’t think Kim Cattrall would say something as critical of SJP and as publicly as she did if it wasn’t true.

Maybe that was it, actually you reminded me to add to the list of reasons to make me think Carrie doesn't actually like Miranda anymore was acting as if she was best friends with Che after they broke up, and not thinking it was OK she ate a yoghurt out of her fridge when staying with her.

Urgh, the yoghurt thing. These are women in their 50s, in the city that never sleeps - surely someone is going to run to the corner store/order groceries to be delivered before there’s nothing in the fridge?

Worked closely and what appeared happily, for years, but then dropped like a hot potato….. though I expect she had to say that to keep the tv executives happy.

Chris Noth was very different - there were 4-5 sexual assault allegations against him around the time of episode 1, so they edited out the scene in the finale where he was supposed to appear in Carrie's imagination. No mystery or confusion there.

Apparently her brother in law is a plastic surgeon and removed her mole a few years ago. But you can tell she’s had a lot of tweakments, even if reasonably subtle by Hollywood standards.

I think the one thing I couldn’t forget was that during one of the Hamptons episodes, they all booked a house to share and left Kim out. Very shitty behaviour.

Samamtha’s storylines got increasingly ridiculous and rubbish in comparison to those given to the others, too. Not SJP’s fault, but still.

How could we possibly know thats true though? And even if its factually true they stayed separated how could we know it wasn't Kim who chose to distance herself?

Here’s the article I read ages ago where it said about the house thing. I got it wrong: I thought it was the Hamptons but it was the Atlantic city episode (which I love).

Who knows what’s true or not - how can we ever know? I don’t believe the house thing has been disputed, other than saying it was because Kim was married. According to that article.

My confusion was over SJP saying her and Kim were best buddies and Kim saying they most certainly weren’t.

I just went to watch Divorce season 3 episode 7 only to find there isn’t one. Episode 6 was the last and it didn’t even end like an end! Season 2 had 8 episodes and season 1 had 10!!!

Yes, it does but that just means someone uploaded the footage a year ago. The actual interview was in 2017.

There’s been no rapprochement though. The cameo came from an approach directly from HBO, she was offered a huge amount of money, and had no contact with anyone when she filmed it. AND she insisted on being dressed by Patricia Field, who has not otherwise been involved in AJLT at all (and I bet there’s a story there).

You know, I think SGP did have some sway with storylines: she and Michael Patrick King have always been thick as thieves.

I’ve read interviews that claim Patricia Field said that Cynthia Nixon think she knows it all fashion wise and she (in her opinion) knows nothing. She said that SJP knows her stuff fashion wise.
