What a weird, random episode. The whole thing is so rambly

I think we all did the world's biggest eye roll at that line!

More beautiful outfits for Carrie - the green outfit to the play and the sparkly one for cocktails were stunning. Not wild about Seema's cocktail look, hairstyle or outfit

Shocking decor in the flat and in Carrie's house. How is Lisette living there with no kitchen?! And Charlotte calling the house 'warm and cozy' - really??? So nice to see them having drinks and chats though - we don't get nearly enough of that

Just don't care about Herbert or LTW, even though Nicole Ari Parker is doing sterling work with shit material. Don't care about Charlotte's kids

Mixed feelings about next week. Prepared for it to be awful, but sad to see these characters for what must be the very last time

@PicturePuzzle yes! That was so weird. Does she think no one remembers she was married to big, cheated on Aidan with big, made big the focus for her life for the previous 25 plus years. It’s so so weird.

Yes Brady was out of order but, why did Miranda invite that awful girl. How embarrassing that is. Butt out Mother! Will Brady go back to living with Steve now.
Lisa's hat was a joke most of her clothes are. I wonder where she shops and does she try stuff on and look in a mirror. I think she is the prettiest out of them all but her clothes are awful.
What's so wrong in having untold wealth and a big pad but living alone, does Carrie need a man at all to validate her ?

I’m quite annoyed that Lisette didn’t pull a “what the fuck now?” face at the 22 years… she didn’t meet Carrie until after she’d been widowed (IIRC) so shouldn’t be susceptible to the “it’s been Aiden 4 eva” crap

I know we are supposed to leave reality to one side, but I thought Carrie’s building was co-op? How on earth has Lisette managed to cut her apartment in half without anybody in the building noticing or complaining?

Odd episode.

The pie order segment: why? I know it’s not the done thing to negatively comment on people’s appearance, but the woman complaining looked like she had been embalmed.

Lisette - The dullest character EVER. Wedged into the episode so that Carrie could be shocked at the state of her old apartment (and they always have interesting names: Ezekiel. It’s never, Hi, I’m Trevor).

Lovely Harry acting like a twat, watching porn and making jokes about penis polishing 😖and not being able to watch football at Miranda’s Thanksgiving meal.

Loved Charlotte grieving Rose, but accepting her child’s choices.

Carrie’s editor having no vision or understanding of nuance whatsoever. As previously with her book about loss.

Miranda inviting Mia to Thanksgiving without telling Brady - when he is cooking the meal …yes he was a twat about it, but he had a point. Get to know Mia on your own time, Miranda!

Herbert being pouty. Thought he had more about him.

School principal: frozen of face and perving over Giuseppe. Creepy. Liked him in Will and Grace though.

Rock in Thoroughly Modern Millie was good, but I’m bound to say that as it’s one of my favourite films.

The sequin dress Carrie was wearing when she was having cocktails with Seema… Was she wearing a regular bra underneath that scooped back dress? I couldn’t work it out. I know Pat Field used to pop Carrie in dresses with regular bras, but she always made it work. In this scene they weren’t giving too much away, but the dress clearly had no back and it looked like she had a massive black bra on. I would’ve been interested to see what the hell that look like from behind!

I really can’t get on board with Adam the gardener. He seems almost too perfect, which is a red flag in itself 😆

This reminds me of how funny it sounded to me that in The Affair that the boy children of the old money, posh New England family were called Trevor and Martin.

The absolute dogs dinner Lisette made of the OG apartment but I understand the point to draw a line over it, my auntie still lives where we all grew up & my school is around the corner so I'm there a lot so I really get the tug of nostalgia

WTF did they put Lisa in? Did she piss someone off in the wardrobe dept.? Like Marie in Breaking Bad who said "any colour except purple" & so every outfit, accessory or homeware that could be purple was 😆

I felt the proposal was a rushed mess, Guiseppe was only saying last week he didn't want to rush into moving in until Geppetto was caught wanking over his puppet but I hope they don't break up

I got the impression from Anthony's rant to Carrie that it has been at least a few weeks since the moving in part. But, yes, even a few weeks is rushed!

One of my fave lines was from Giuseppe. After he proposed, Anthony asked if he was kidding, and Giuseppe said, "Am I known for my humour?" lol

I really hope they don't break up... I love them together. And it'll be even worse if they break up but would have gotten back together in S4 (which now clearly wouldn't happen).

Episode 10 when she goes down the stairs and kisses him - bloody hell that looked awkward as hell

This ep made me more curious than ever about what's going on with Nicole Ari Parker and the rest of the cast. LTW and Herbert were technically at the same event as everyone else but with no interaction. I'm not convinced that Giuseppe and Anthony were filmed at the same time as the Lisa and Herbert side of that conversation.
Is it just a scheduling issue for her or is there some sort of Kim Cattrall backstage issue again?!
And poor The Son Who Likes Cheese, who we didn't get to see sing again.

Oh yeah @cordelia16 I hope the break up wasn't going to part of an arc that never will be..

The pie shop lady was right - loyalty counts.
Brady was right to be annoyed with his mum.
Joy was right to be worried.
Glad Duncan is not coming back.
i don’t blame Harry for wanting to spend thank giving at home - he’s been through a lot.
I liked Charlotte grieving for the daughter she never had.

The engagement- all seems a bit too soon.
I thought Carrie’s house looked fine and the old apartment looked ‘very smell’.
Herbert is understandably feeling sorry for himself , and his wife would be wise to give him some space ….
I agree with Carrie’s editor - I’d want an happy ending too - which I’m glad to say , Carrie’s Epilogue, would indicate, this is exactly we got.

That was a waste of an episode!

I agree they’ve done a smash and grab with the editing to stretch out whatever footage they had to make ‘a finale’.
The good:
Anthony’s reaction to the plum sweater.
Charlotte’s reaction to Rock’s Millie transformation.
Carrie’s hair, In every scene.
The bad:
LTW’s school play outfit. Specifically the headgear. I enjoyed her orange cape however.
Seema being in love.
Lisette’s butchery of the apartment. I know it was a plot device but… sacrilege.

I wonder if lisette and her anxiety about living alone is a nod to her generation and all the negative info they get, compared to Carrie which felt like a more innocent time

Does feel like they’ve just hacked episodes in half to create a false finale. Don’t have high hopes for next week which is a shame.

My predictions for the final episode. :-

Mia will have the baby at the thanksgiving meal, if it’s a red head, Brady will announce it must be his then. Miranda and joy help to deliver the baby.
Carrie will be in her garden looking up for the final frame of the series.
Last scene of Charlotte and Harry is him getting an erection.
