The third series may be over but we still have a lot to say.

Is there a thread discussing the Aussie Traitors S2? 🤣 I've honestly never seen anything like it.

Edited

Probably from when it first came out ages ago.

It absolutely blew my mind. But it was also hilarious. Have you got to the task where they blindfolded in an antiques shop yet?

I've binge watched it to the end 🤣🤣🤣

My favourite task was the one where they were offered drinks in exchange for silver bars. Sam's behaviour was unreal 😂

I'm chugging through it at the moment!

@MrsLargeEmbodied I don't think that is the link you intended.

MrsLargeEmbodied · 31/01/2025 20:22

it is the final 7 minutes @GetDressedYouMerryGentlemen , apologies for not being clear

I know Jake got a lot of stick for ripping that teddys head off but when he explained his disability it kind of made sense. If he can only efficiently use one arm and the medal was inside the teddy what else was he supposed to do?

I really loved the inclusion of Jake, as his attitude to his hemiplegia completely reflects that of my own (I have left hemi). It was brilliant that he didn't feel the need to make a big announcement about it and just mentioned it in passing when it became relevant. His struggles accepting that he had a 'disability' also completely resonated with me - I think I spent years giving myself extra hurdles because I didn't like to think myself as different. Acceptance feels like such a relief.

Yes I loved that it wasn’t his whole personality. That can happen in reality shows and I love that it was a side note.

Someone on Reddit said that producers should be checking that a contestant isn't an actual murderer in real life 😂

Season 1 was the best of the the traitors in the world

BBC iPlayer!

Season 1 is gripping. There is one episode in particular (you’ll know it when you watch it) where it’s so good that I probably wouldn’t have paused it if the house was on fire 😂

Thank you! I'll check it out.

I'm going to slightly go against the grain of the last few posts. I actually wasn't keen on either of the Australian ones. I watched them both last year, almost a year ago in fact. Just too much brutality for my taste. I did however watch the New Zealand one more recently, and I loved that. I found the NZ offering a very satisfying watch. I know some people found it boring, but I loved it. Personal taste I guess 🤷‍♀️

I can’t remember which episode and I’ve rewatched recently!

XelaM · 01/02/2025 08:35

Not seen the Australian Season 1, but Season 2 is definitely unlike any Traitor season I've ever seen. You will know when you start watching 😂 I really like the Australian host. He's understated (unlike Alan 🙄 and Claudia) but very cool.

dapsnotplimsolls · 02/02/2025 16:39

Wow. Just finished the Australian series 2. Wow.

I'm assuming it's the one where they keep their plans under the radar until the actual vote?

dapsnotplimsolls · 02/02/2025 17:35

I haven't seen the NZ one and only seen the first US one but of the ones I've seen, I think the first Aus and the second UK one probably tie for the best I've seen. I like Rodger too, although not as glorious as Claudia, obviously 😁

mewkins · 02/02/2025 17:59

We tried to watch the S1 Oz one but didn't like it as much as the UK one. However we quite enjoyed the odd USA ones and watching the current series now which is great. I like the fact that many already know each other (or are enemies) before they even go in 😆. I think we may start the NZ latest series shortly too and see how we go.

modernshmodern · 02/02/2025 20:57

I think the Australian ones are the best followed by British. American ones are good in their own way but I find them a bit full on
