The third series may be over but we still have a lot to say.

I think it was a shame that the last traitor wasn't likeable.
(Harry at least was. yep he was mean to Molly but she was a sheep)
for me it made the ending a bit of a damp squib. would have been better if Minah had stayed in.
still glad Leanne and Jake won. Frankie was a bit wet and Alexander whilst lovely, just didn't fight his corner.

I liked Charlotte a lot more than I liked Harry who I couldn't stand! I also found him very annoying in uncloaked

GetDressedYouMerryGentlemen · 25/01/2025 15:30

Francesca's yellow dress was slightly garden-partyish, and I thought far less stylish than many of her outfits on the show...

As I said on the previous thread it looked like a Belle from Beauty and the Beast dress up costume.

Decisionsdecisions1 · 25/01/2025 15:33

All I’ll say is, if you had to have a work meeting with some of them who would you choose?
The shouty aggressive ones? The ones that don’t realise the inappropriateness and insensitivity of saying a doctor kills by night? Or who consider it unthinkable that key roles would be given solely to female contestants?

Minah and Kaz put the others to shame in my opinion (I’m neutral about Alexander).

Can traitors who are about to be banished, out the other traitors in front of the group? Why doesn't this happen more often near the end?

Freddie knew he was going at the round table, so he could have just said something like, "I'm voting for Charlotte because I know she is a traitor". Then when he revealed his identity as a fellow traitor, they would have had no doubt. Also he could have said when he was leaving "I was recruited a traitor 24hrs ago", is he not allowed to say that either?

No they are not allowed to say anything when they are banished other than whether they are traitor or faithful . And traitors are not allowed to say at the round table I know X is a traitor

mugglewump · 25/01/2025 15:37

Whilst I would have loved to have seen Minah and/or Freddie win, I actually liked all of the final four, and Leanne and Jake needed the money more than Franke Rowan Plouden (google her - she is both wealthy and quite famous) or posh boy (ie from rich family) Alexander. It was a very enjoyable series and I am looking forward to the celebrity version.

I think Frankie didn't choose Alexander for the seer meeting as at that point she believed him to be faithful from the coins and talking to him. I think he advised her to check Charlotte as he had had suspicions earlier in the day.

I think after finding out Charlotte was a traitor and knowing Leanne had suspicions that Alexander was a traitor her paranoia spiralled and she started wondering if Charlotte and Alexander were both traitors. She worried he was playing her to get Charlotte ousted so he could win everything. That pushed her toward trying to get a mum alliance with Leanne and made her willing to vote Alexander out.

Not sure. Alexander looked genuinely disappointed when Charlotte's name was called and not his.
Also, Frankie said she had doubts about Alexander and almost picked him. It's a shame she didn't, but hey ho...

But it's light entertainment, not a professional setting

Yep agree I googled her too and Frankie she doesn't need the money by the looks of it.

I do wonder how much of the motivation to 'banish again' was down to thinking there was another traitor, or just wanting a bigger slice of the pie.

OP posts:
ahjeez · 25/01/2025 17:28

Sorry, but Leanne was a bully who shouted down people at the table and rarely, if ever, did anything in the missions that would have benefited the team. She is extremely fit and strong, which could have benefited the team on challenges yet chose to hide that. She didn't contribute to the team on missions if it involved any degree of sacrifice (good example is the rowing challenge, where she didn't get off the boat or help with getting others off the boat/carrying items to the ring of fire). She liked to confront people and make snide remarks but could not handle anyone suggesting that she might not be a faithful, even if done in a polite manner. The game of course brings out people's worst moments and worst traits, and the stress would make people crack, but I think this behaviour coupled with the "why am I still here?" made her unbearable.

I think when it went down to 3, the bigger slice of the pie was probably more of a motivation.

I just tried to respond to the last thread, about Frankie needing to say that the seer didn't reveal their identity.

Yes!! She was way too emotional about it. If she'd calmed down and used some nous she would have been in a stronger position.

I also hated the as a mummy thing, especially the first time she said it, which I think was before Charlotte's banishment. It felt like she was taking advantage of Charlotte's infertility to connect with Leanne. Which is actually way worse than anything Charlotte did.

I didn't know that charlotte was infertile? 🥺 how horrible *of frankie to say that, if so

ninja · 25/01/2025 22:07

@witchycat2 thank you 😂

Sorry if this has come up already but it’s really been bugging me. Am I right in thinking there’s no real point in finding the traitors? As soon as they boot one out, another is recruited. If the only way to win the game is by being in it at the very end, wouldn’t it be better to work out who the traitors are and just stay close to them? Keep them on your side and then vote them out at the very end. All the excitement when they vote a traitor out and Claudia congratulating them, why does it matter? Now, if they added £20K to the prize pot for every traitors out, that would make sense. But otherwise there’s no point to it! I know they have to do it to give the round table a purpose but I do think it’s a flaw in the game.

It is a flaw and it has been pointed out by others including Richard Osman and Marina Hyde. I think in future series they will tweak it.

Orangebadger · 25/01/2025 23:49

@NoMoreFalafelForYou agree. You get one, they just potentially recruit, so it just carries on for little gain.

I was very glad Charlotte didn't win. I was never a big fan, but I really wanted Minah to win as someone who had been an awesome traitor from the start, I think overall Charlotte was a good traitor but she didn't have to do it for very long, before that she was quite dull.

Leanne, I liked initially, then didn't but by the end she had grown on me again, so I was pleased her and Jake won, they needed the money more than Frankie and Alexander I am guessing.

I think they should have more traitors at the beginning eg 5 or 6. But once they are out the faithful just have one fewer to find.

latetothefisting · 26/01/2025 00:18

Yeah, if once a traitor was out that was it, with no automatic recruitment, it would be better. Otherwise, like with Charlotte, if someone is recruited quite late in the game they get a much easier go of it because they had the benefit of being able to 'prove' themselves as a faithful compared to someone like Minah.

It would be quite funny to see them determined to still find a traitor even if they were down to just faithfuls for the last week or so!

Or, alternatively, as a twist, when one traitor goes a new one is recruited but the remaining traitor/s aren't told who it is!

Or, perhaps there could be an option for a traitor to be turned back into a faithful - optional whether they volunteer or are chosen by the other traitors/lucky dip. Then you'll have an outcome a bit like Charlotte/Frankie whereby that person and the remaining traitors know who each other are and are trying to get the others to believe them.

Or could have a slightly amended version of the 'seer' power - instead of/as well as winning a 'shield' - one person could have the power to ask one other person a flat out 'Are you a traitor?' and that person HAS to answer honestly - but the 'seer' can use it whenever they want and in front of whomever they want - so could use it in a round table.

I have just googled and you’re right! What was all
the drippy ‘single parent’ whining about then? Hardly benefits street is she? Annoying. Glad she didn’t win a penny. (Still loved Alexander though - he was a gent).
