Starts tonight at 9pm on ITV, apparently. I had no idea it was back!

It did feel kind of final....

Tombakersscarf · 17/02/2020 23:21

So what did she arrange in the end!

Tombakersscarf · 17/02/2020 23:23

I did enjoy that episode

Xmasbaby11 · 17/02/2020 23:32

Ah that was lovely!

Mammyloveswine · 17/02/2020 23:38

Ha loved the accidental proposal!

Also Karen's anguished "I want it all" omg age is all of us!

JillAmanda · 17/02/2020 23:50

It’ll be back.... but sounds like it could be some time 😢

Lovely. Using that song did make it feel like the end

EachandEveryone · 18/02/2020 17:21

Yes it has ro be the end. I enjoyed it.

merrygoround51 · 19/02/2020 15:05

I loved it but do spend most of my time lusting after Karen’s house and wardrobe - such fab style

"I loved it but do spend most of my time lusting after Karen’s house and wardrobe - such fab style"

I'm watching now and came to ask if anyone knows what colour her kitchen walls are !

Newgirls · 19/02/2020 15:47

Really good episode - tied up so many things and love that the focus was in Karen’s career and Adam finally realising he needed to be a good parent.

diddl · 19/02/2020 17:52

Anyone remember Robert Robinson who used to present Call my Bluff?

His daughter, Lucy plays Robyn!

QueenOfTheAndals · 19/02/2020 18:04

I remember her as the Mayoress from The Thin Blue Line about 20 years ago!

Still not feeling Karen & Adam.

Thank goodness she decided against marrying the selfish git!

mencken · 20/02/2020 12:31

guy playing Matt was acting James Nesbitt off the screen. I hope this is the start of a great career for him.

Karen and Adam have zero chemistry. Pete and Jenny are totally believable.

purpleme12 · 20/02/2020 13:01

I really felt for Matt

diddl · 20/02/2020 15:12

Adam is just so selfish.

His son crying out for help/attention & he doesn't see it!

David "proposing"Grin

I like him with Robyn.

northernstars · 20/02/2020 20:48

Ah that song though. I still have the soundtrack from the first series on CD!

hairquestions2019 · 21/02/2020 07:33

Can't believe Adam had been planning to leave Matt living alone for ?three/six months? during A levels, Am I a helicopter or is that totally irresponsible? And to give Karen her due share of the blame, she was ready to go along with it until the last minute (though did see sense in the end, fortunately). I feel Rachel would not have been impressed.

Loved Robyn and David getting back together - but wasn't she incredibly unsupportive during his, um, problems with the law? All very well to go back to him now that he's back in banking!

Medievalist · 21/02/2020 07:59

Agree that Adam and Karen is just so unbelievable. What on earth would she see in such an arrogant, self-absorbed, cheesy individual?!

And what a shit life he gave Matt - dumped in a boarding school where he was bullied while Adam worked abroad. Having to always take second place to Adam's latest romantic obsession. Being turned out of his house without any discussion because it suited Adam. A dad who's so self-absorbed he's oblivious to his pain. Adam is a complete arsehole and Rachel would not have been impressed!

diddl · 21/02/2020 09:25

What did Rachel ever see in Adam?

diddl · 21/02/2020 09:27

I mean wouldn't he be a prime example of someone not to have a kid with?

Well unless you were happy for him to carry on his life as before/as he wanted & you do all the adjusting!

Violetparis · 21/02/2020 09:31

I didn't enjoy this series as much as the previous ones, the Karen and Adam relationship just didn't work for me, she's far too intelligent and switched on for him. Really liked David and his and Karen's daughters in this seies, especially the hedonistic one.

EachandEveryone · 21/02/2020 17:32

Why werent any them at uni? Were they all the same age? The girls seemed much older.

QueenOfTheAndals · 21/02/2020 18:23

The girls are older than Matt aren't they? So they're at least 20. But yes, surely they should be at uni - weren't they sitting their A-levels when Olivia got pregnant?
