Ive heard HN s the nicest one out of all of them.

Fantastic last episode but don't the like the Pete potential affair or blackmail storyline!

It’s like they’re trying to pack all this drama into each show. Like someone said earlier turning it into a soap.

I used to love watching it. It was really about friends and relationships.

I thought Jen did seem pretty cut up about her mum's death. She didn't have any huge crying fits or anything but the acting was v good and I thought we could see in her face how upset she was. She was also having to deal with her quite difficult sister which will have kept her mind busy.

I think this series is really struggling for good storylines. The only character I still find interesting is Karen. She's always been my favourite though.

We’re not seeing enough of Karen and her work. It was great watching her build her own business her storyline is just Adam and problems with Liv

Totally agree @mnahmnah. That was much more interesting than the Adam story. I just don't think it's realistic that she'd be interested in him.

Massive MASSIVE fan of Cold Feet. Even to the point of noticing that David’s new boss played the part of a nearly one night stand that Adam had who told him to get his ball checked.

I adore David and Karen - best characters in it.

Jenny has always been my least favourite. Her sister was right, she makes everything about her.

Hated the Jo years - though she had an affair with Ramona’s boyfriend who has just played a blinder in “The Stranger”.

I wanted to love the new series but it definitely lost momentum after Rachel died.

I wonder if David's boss is meant to be the same character she played before?

No definitely not! She was a Scouse nurse!

Speaking of nurses, did anyone watch the early 00s series No Angels? I really liked that and David's boss was one of the main characters.

Oh I loved No Angels. Wow totally forgot about that.

The dishy Scottish doc from it lives near me, I've seen him in the supermarket a few times!

I'm the radio times it said Pete is under the impression he's got a free pass to have sex with that woman because of Jenny's grief and getting over cancer??

Adam is useless as a partner and father - so immature and untrustworthy!

I like the scenes between Jenny and her sister. They seem v natural.

I hope that's the end of Pete's little dalliance. Wouldn't be surprised if she doesn't try a bit of blackmail though and Pete end up in a big mess!

And why has Mary the cafe owner disappeared? I thought her and David were going to be a couple.

That's what I was wondering too.

Feel this series, as with the previous one, is coasting. I thought the mum's will story was contrived and lazy and I still don't buy Karen and Adam as a couple. The recasting last year of one of Karen and David's daughter's still doesn't work either as she looks more like 25 than 18.

What on earth does Karen see in Adam!

agree just cant see karen and adam together at all

also the teenagers are a bit dull though obviously for continuity need to be in it. The worst of them is the relationship between's son and karens daughter really how likely is that to happen?

the characters who are most interesting are david because he has developed and life has changed him and he is a good actor and pete because he has to accept he is middle aged in a low paid job , jen and karen have also developed and are relatable. adam is essentially still playing the same role and is generally really irritating.

Was that the series finale?

I think there is one more next week.
