I thought the cafe owner asked David to be her partner and he got all excited and then she said "no, business partner"? Then I think she went off somewhere, can't remember where or why.

After the pub quiz -
David "so how come you know so much about rap?"
Mary "usual story, ex-girlfriend"

Someone I know has worked on all of the new series and says that they are all utter knobs apart from Robert Bathurst

He was lovely to my daughter when she had a very small part as an extra several series ago. He spent time talking to her and her friends about their plans for the future and was quite charming.

I love Robert Bathurst and I love David. I think it’ll be quite sweet if he and Robin get back together.

Mary's gone to look after her dad. I like Robyn this time around, more mellow and they make a lovely couple.

My prediction for the season finale, Adam tells/asks his boss to move out of his house and he moves back in with Matt, but he stays with Karen. David & Robyn get back together. Pete and Jenny I don't know, they'll stay together but I don't know what more they can do with them as a couple. Maybe this will be the last series....

Why does Jenny have a 'Manc' accent but her sister sounds more scouse? I know the mum was scouse.

Just caught up and all I can say is.....

I like the David storyline, (although not sure why it means he doesn’t shave!), also quite enjoyed the Adam story line- him finding it difficult to adapt in the modern workplace is quite true for 50 somethings. Even if his was a bit extreme!

@Fleetheart I want to know that too. Why is David so scruffy? His suits don't fit and the not shaving. Robbie the robber is better presented.

I also think Adam (James Nesbit) is a knob and think HM in the first episodes looked a bit sick having to snog him.

I could understand the unshaven look when David was homeless but not sure why he's stuck with it!

I guess the dishevelled look is meant to represent his more relaxed approach to life now

When Jenny's sister found the will I thought it would say that their mum was a secret millionaire and Jenny was to inherit a pile of dosh. That would have been more interesting.

I did wonder if there might be a more up to date will somewhere. It seems odd to have continued to leave Jenny out, she could have willed her share to her grandchildren even just leaving it to her one daughter was very strange.

I can't remember the back story about Jenny and her mum. Did the mum live with the sister until the sister moved to Canada? Why did she have to move in with Jenny rather than live by herself? She seemed in fairly good health until the end.

Who found the will?was it the sister?

I also think they'll find an up to date will.

I think you'll find that the word for David is 'dishevelled'

I think the will is a fake that has magically appeared by the sister.

I'm really liking this series

I really like David and yes I have liked Robyn recently
