What are people's opinions on the new Bake Off so far? And yes, I know we're only a few minutes in. IMO the new presenters feel a bit like they're trying a little too hard to be Mel and Sue.

Hard to tell so far IMO! It's a very popular and successful formula so they probably don't want to mess too much with it I suppose?

I miss Mel and Sue, they were jut so natural with the presenting, I'm not keen on Noel, and I don't actually now who has replaced Mary Blush

I like Noel in other stuff but it's odd seeing him have to tone down the weird. Makes it seem a bit forced.

Noel's kind of watered himself down for this - hoping he develops a bit of bite as he relaxed into it.

It is the same, with the music and format etc, But the presenters just don't do it for me, but I am giving it time, maybe they just need tie to settle into the role more comfortably.

So far, I don't mind it. Sandi is fine, Noel is just very un-like what I expect from Noel Fielding, so it's weird, but I could get used to him!

Obviously, the same people are making the show so it's all very familiar and I'm interested in the bakes more than anything else - so I will probably keep watching (at least until I get fed up of a breaks)

Hoping Noel and Sandy settle into their roles over the series as don't mind either of them. See how it goes but glad it's pretty much the same and glad they look as though baking stuff I've actually heard of

I like Pru and Sandi but Noel (although amazing with Barrett on the Boosh) is not a natural presenter.

I miss Sue.

I love Pru, she's wonderful. And I'm surprised by how much I quite like Noel too.

I wasn't going to watch as I can't stand Sandi, I find her far to smug.

Paul can fuck off. Adverts can fuck off. It's fine while they're actually baking, then the adverts happened and ruined the happy feeling.

I do think Pru is good replacement for Mary.
Noel... I'm undecided on him at the mo, I think he needs to settle and get comfortable.
Sandi, I'm not keen at all.
