Busy weekend here, we are staying with parents to celebrate Mum's birthday. Stayed up too late last night eating cheese and drinking lovely wine.

Good Mother's Day here, handmade card from DS1, a card with a scrawl from DS2. The DS's had instructed DH to get me flowers, chocolates and 'a film, because Mummy likes films, Daddy'. Bless their little hearts, and well done DH because I have got all of Sherlock on DVD and a box of Green and Blacks.

twit I'm truly sorry for your troubles. remember there is no fucking way in the world that he can ever justify speaking to you like that, and you shouldn't ever forget it. If he's anything like my partner he's a slippery fucker and capable of arguing black is white til you actually stop questioning your sanity and believe all manner of shit things that basically let him off the hook. Don't forget. Hannah is clearly right, but I can imagine that with five young kids (you are fucking amazing by the way, and should get told that a lot) you're probably baulking slightly at the prospect of doing one.
