I met my BIL at the shops today his kids arms full of flowers for SIL. I did feel a little .

I did get breakfast in bed and some beautiful cards. But then they've been trying to kill each other all day and I've turned off to their screaming and crying. H isn't back until late so it's just me and the Cardinal's Fingers. They are coming along well.

The song itself..... Admittedly I haven't played it all the way through. But it didn't stand out immediately as suiting the album. Might be a bit too slit your wrists for the otherwise fairly uplifting, sexiness of Album. I will have a proper listen later though.
But for god's sake, don't take it personally if it doesn't get the go ahead. It's not a personal rejection of you. You are a part of the Wenchhood, that doesn't mean we all have to agree on every single thing all the time.
Maybe you could start a darker days album?

To make sound clip/phone notification thingies, download Audacity ('tis free), play whatever sound you want through your computer, record it on Audacity, cut, paste, edit at will ! (I may have a minion giggling as my email notification, created in the manner detailed above)

Never too early for wine - I've been on the wine since noon as I went out for lunch (any excuse really), try not to drink too much, you don't want to be fast asleep at 9pm!

Have completed Mother's Day visits. Have been heavy on the guilt tripping with DC today - NO SHAME!

I'll be having some of my fancy Pimms tonight to assist in Anglo-French relations.

I did French at A level, though you wouldn't think so now. One term we had a French student over to assist with our oral. I fancied him something rotten but I was a very innocent 17 year old so the "helping with oral" was totally lost on me and I'm not sure I would have known what to do with him if he'd acknowledged my crush.
