Which wedding dress- or neither?!

Hello! I had a thread a while back where I asked for help finding my wedding dress. (2nd wedding for me, 1st for DP- swore he’d never get married)
Ideally I wanted sparkles- the more the better! And not fitted! Had some excellent suggestions, tried loads but ended up
getting a proper fitted (eek!) lace gown- no sparkles!

I don’t think think it’s the one. I think I got swept away and bought too soon and honestly, when I look back at the pictures, I don’t think it’s flattering. I’m all tummy and hips. I know I should be more body positive, but some skims or go on the jabs… but I can’t shake that image out my head

Was out with DP at the weekend and we saw a couple getting married. She was in a pink Needle and Thread. She looked gorgeous and glowing. DP knows I’m agonising over what to wear and pointed her out telling me to just wear the best dress. It didn’t matter if it was a wedding dress or coloured. It should just be the best dress imaginable.

I had a look on N&T, ordered several and love this one. My daughter says I look like Elsa. I love the shape it gives, the sleeves are beyond, DP loves me in blue….
But I need some validation from internet strangers!

I think the Elsa dress is gorgeous and you look really happy in it (is that weird to say when I can’t see your face?! But your body language says happy!)

The green one! (Or is it blue?) It’s lovely and looks great on you.

I agree with the other posters. You look really happy in the green one and it looks beautiful. Go with that.

I’m not keen on the white dress , but the coloured one is absolutely lush and fits you beautifully. Wear what makes you happy ( with secret fingers crossed it’s the gorgeous dress ! )

Went to N&T to look at the close ups. It’s gorgeous, really beautiful

You've not made a fair comparison of the dresses - the front on pose in the white dress isn't showing you in your best position, so I think you're doing yourself down.

However you sound much more excited about the green dress.

The blue one fits you beautifully and is way more flattering, go for it!

The Elsa

I’d say neither, sorry. The white one is too weirdly shiny and the green one is a weird length that doesn’t do much for your shape.

Looked on the N&T site and the colour is just beautiful! I agree your body language is so happy, go for it Elsa!!

I haven’t got a better picture of the white one. I have a video but I can’t crop my face out there 😂 I deleted the other pictures I have. I agree it is an odd shine in that picture.

I also did wonder about the length of the Elsa (which is a Bluey Green) The details are gorgeous, I love the sleeves….
But it might not be the right one either. I prefer. It to the white but don’t know if it’s THE ONE

They both look lovely but the Elsa one is more flattering on you.

I LOVE Needle & Thread dresses, the Elsa looks like it suits you perfectly and you look so happy in it, even though I can’t see your face. DP loves blue, you love sparkles, I think you’ve nailed it!

Not the first one. It's just a bit 'meh'. The green one looks lovely on you.

If your concern is the non-traditional colour, what about the N&T gown in the champagne?

Honestly I think you look great in both but you seem SO happy in the elsa Dress and it’s so beautiful. I love that it’s not a traditional wedding dress as well! If you didn’t go for the white one are you able to return it?xx

I’m not sure the Elsa is 100% the One (although it looks fab, I think it’s the length that’s throwing me), but your reaction to it has highlighted that the white one absolutely, definitely isn’t your dress.

If it were me, I’d return both, start the search afresh and just look for something I loved with no preconceptions about it needing to be bridal.

What about a white/off white N&T one? The Elsa one you posted is lovely.

Elsa dress is beautiful on the website and I like it on you! Yeah the sleeves are a lot but by wedding standards it's tame!

Do you love you in blue? If so go for it.

Not keen on white one full stop. On you it maybe doesn't go with the waist detail and your tattoos? Like the eye doesn't know where to look but it's drawn to and accross that middle strip, so if you are conscious about your waist that might be an issue. Not that I am saying you should be!

I’m so sorry but that white one is absolutely terrible. I don’t know who or what talked you into it but it’s awful from the boobs down.

The other one is really lovely. It may or may not be “the one”, only you can know that, but it’s properly breathtaking IMO.
