What a horrible surprise @Poplinskirt . I hope they sort it out soon.

Hope no-one minds me recommending something non-Toast, but it's quite rare I take something out of the bag, try it on, keep it on and promptly order another exactly the same because it's so perfect. also Toast prices make me think everything else is an absolute bargain. Anyway, if anyone is short of shorts this year, these are amazing (and oddly as long on me at 5'4 as they are on the very tall model). They're not heavy linen but they are wonderful!

My bandana arrived. I think it’s quite a useful thing. It’s great for me as a hairband, goes round twice, also with outfits but definitely feels like a winter colour to me. It would make me consider another in a colour of choice.

Bandana arrived for me too. It's just warm enough a tone to be ok on me so a lovely treat.

The Reworn smock dress it accompanied was fun and a keeper. Lovely soft brushed cotton with a similar hand feel/weight to the cotton cashmere check dresses from the past few seasons.

I'd ordered the collector print bandana, in slate version (it has a blue edging) to wear with several striped items in cobalt and enamel. It looks very interesting tucked around neck or hanging long, with contrasting pattern and colours.
I was delighted when I opened the package to see another bandana!

Morning all, I have been trying to tie my bandana as demo’d in the video, but failing miserably 😹I have stopped trying for now as it is too hot.

The colour is lovely, (and is one I wear), but I agree it’s more of a winter style. It’s a perfect match for the burgundy fisherman’s jumper I got in the pop up back in the day - my favourite jumper - so I will definitely use it.

Waiting with bated breath to see if my Kindred membership is renewed. Do you usually get an email if so, (and resounding silence if not?)

Meanwhile, RM are claiming they tried to deliver my Toast order yesterday. They might have done, but not to me…

My parcel had arrived - Reworn denim pinafore. Lovely but far too small on the chest. Sadly returning and reminding myself to keep going to the gym…

Hi @mizu I think it’s the same style as this size 16 on eBay.

Tbh, given how far the side buttons were from fastening, I am not sure even the 16 would fit me. I am very sad as I really liked it and I have a hankering for a Toast pinafore.

I don’t know which year it’s from - is it very old?

Has anyone got a jersey top/tshirt in the chalk colour? Has the colour faded at all in the wash? I know some ecrus (not Toast necessarily) sometimes lose a bit of their creaminess and become a bit more white and I’m wondering if this is the case. I ordered some Cleo tees but the chalk may not be a great colour for me. I wish they would do their tees in pure white too.
Also, what is the shrinkage like on the Cleo tee, does anyone know? I ordered M and L and the L is perfect, but just on the small side of perfect so I would not want it to shrink at all. Thanks!

@IlovePond ah looks the same as this one I'm watching on Vinted. I'm wondering about the length as I'm 5 ft 7" and not keen on midi length anymore.

It’s not gone back yet @mizu. I’ll measure it for you. I’m 5’4”. It seemed relatively ‘short’ for Toast nowadays so I am thinking it’s really old stock.

Hi @ScottishMouse - I have a chalk round collar tee. It doesn’t seem to have changed colour so far, (but I have been handwashing).

Where does it say about Kindred and the expiry date? Can’t find it on the website in my account.

@IlovePond @FitzLea my pass expires tomorrow and I’m waiting with bated breathe too. I will join you with crossed fingers and toes this evening and report back on my kindred status.

@ScottishMouse I have a couple of the chalk tees, both washed at 40 degrees but not washed as they are Toast Tees and therefore special. They’ve maintained their colour and shape as they ought at that price

edited to add, it doesn’t tell you it’s kindred, but if you have a pass and you haven’t paid for it, then you’re kindred.

I see - that makes sense @No1Mousie I paid for my Toast pass, then three days later got invited to Kindred. I don’t know if it was coincidence but I was a bit miffed that I had just paid for the pass, then got congratulated for being given it for ‘free’, (when for me it wasn’t!)

@ScottishMouse I washed mine in error in not my usual washing powder and it did lose colour. ( cream one) Did not shrink though. They’ve kept their shape and body well too.

@IlovePond i would definitely ask them to refund the one you paid for in the circumstances, they might do?

@IlovePond That’s a bit off, like @Snowyowl78 says, it might be worthwhile speaking to customer service?
