Yes plum, and also not really my colour. I'll try it on though and see if I can change my mind. School uniform was plum so it's got dreary connotations for me! But I agree a lovely gift

Thrilled that the gift is a bandana. I think I will be able to use plum. It’ll go with navy. Mine is due Monday.

Someone at Toast said a colleague tied the furoshiki cloths together to make a neckerchief. I tried it the other day and they looked nice together.

I built on my napkins as headwear use yesterday by tying two together to tie back my hair, (a bit like the model on the website with the blue scarf). It looked ok, so I am going to experiment further. I did think about sewing a few together, (but my sewing skills are not good).

One day I may actually use napkins as intended 😹

has anyone got the linen boy tees and how to you wash them? I have an old one and it’s become rather stiff and threadbare-ish. I have worn and washed it a thousand times though and not taken particularly good care of washing it. Have bought a new one and would like to try and be a bit more careful! Delicate wash in a bag?

Mine has arrived- I love it. I almost bought the yellow version so am pleased to try this out.

@IlovePond Wow , what a generous gift ! I ordered a pair of the Falke trainer socks because they should go through the letterbox and am keeping fingers crossed that the gift would be included ( it is) and that it won’t arrive in a box.
The Bordeaux colour used to be a go to colour for me before Toast , I don’t remember seeing much of it in Toast before, so maybe it will appear in the Winter collection.

Oh the bandana is the same as the blue version I bought when they first came out. I’m looking forward to seeing if the colour works for me. I’ve ordered more of the Japanese socks I love, in black this time as I’ll wear them loads and was planning to buy them if they didn’t go into the sale anyway.

I also have the blue one. Touch and go whether that colour will suit me but I'm sure I'll be able to find a good home for it if it doesn't suit.

I've ordered the Cobalt Check Crinkle dress and the kindred gift is on its way. I was going to wait until next month to order, but, as my kindred runs out on the 31st of this month, with no guarantee it will be renewed, I thought I had better order now.
Also wasn’t sure about the sizing, I was recommended the 12, my normal size, but the reviews said to size down. I think @ScottishMouse tried this dress but can’t remember what was said about the sizing, only that it is quite thin and see through.

@Theteapotsbrokenspout i sized down. I originally ordered a 12, which would be my usual size in new Toast sizing, but it seemed quite big, so I tried a 10 in store and swapped it. It still has plenty of room on the bust and arms which is usually the problem for me.

Thanks @ScottishMouse I’ve ordered the 10, hopefully that will be right size then. I’m finding all this sizing variation and keep sending things back to swap for a different size a bit tiresome.

@LuciaRising how disappointing and annoying, I hope toast can sort it out. Do you think it went missing in transit? Or is it toast themselves who made the error?

I can't see any evidence the package was opened prior to delivery but its those sticky paper bags not sealed with tape.
Not sure if the weigh corresponds to the bag size or is the actual weight?

It’s shocking, @Poplinskirt - I ordered loads in the sale but had to return lots as the sizing or fit were weird. I am constantly worried that refunds won’t be done properly as I have had loads of problems in the past. I hope it gets sorted out soon!

The sun is out for once, so I have finally got around to wearing my bargain £20 dress from the April sample sale. (Thought I had better be quick before it goes in again!)

It's done the exact opposite!

Sympathy to you @Poplinskirt. As you might remember at the start of this sale, the first (very large) order I returned, Toast only refunded the first item! Thankfully I noticed quickly but it was still a stress until the rest of the money was refunded!

I hope it’s sorted quickly @Poplinskirt . That is a big discrepancy in weight. It’s a stress you don’t need.

First world problems but absolutely not needed right now.
The weight thing is very odd, the discrepancy is 514 g
I've weighed 2 pairs of my other linen toast pj bottoms and they come to 368g so not sure how 1 pair of very thin ones could be half a kg !!
