Eloping so just two witnesses in a registry office. I'm 36 and size 10 and same skin shade as the model. I'm not a girly girl so pretty clueless however I have worn navy dresses in the past so know they suit me. Don't want anything too fancy but I do like this.

Also it's on November so thought about a jacket like this?

Why not a long sleeved dress and a smart coat? More likely to wear the coat again.

Sorry to be a naysayer but I think you should love what you get married in and it sounds like you’re ambivalent and thinking about what you ‘should’ wear rather than what would make you feel like the best version of you.

If you don’t normally like dresses then you don’t have to wear one, the beauty of an elopement is that you can do what you want and make your own rules.

Love the dress but I agree that a lovely coat would be more stylish.

I think everyone should get married in something like this. But your idea is also lovely.

Love it and also love that it’s definitely wearable again (some people might like the wear it once thing - I’m not one…). Goes for the jacket too but then I also like the bracelet sleeve option another poster has put up. Only thing I would say is that November could be chilly and a long sleeve dress better but depends on where you’re eloping and how much time you’re actually going to be outdoors.

Go for a nice coat, instead of a jacket - will look much smarter. Red would be great with the blue, if red suits you.

Wear an under slip for a smooth line, plenty of bling, tights and nice shoe or sandal & away you go.
