Eloping so just two witnesses in a registry office. I'm 36 and size 10 and same skin shade as the model. I'm not a girly girl so pretty clueless however I have worn navy dresses in the past so know they suit me. Don't want anything too fancy but I do like this.

Also it's on November so thought about a jacket like this?

What do you think? Or any other suggestions for a jacket maybe cheaper 😀 and shoes like the model has on seem ok.

It's a nice classic look. Get some white roses or flowers to hold in front of you and if you can find a cute short veil that can cover your face and be lifted for that wedding kiss. Congrats!

I think it's a prefect dress. I would prefer a cardigan too - I think navy cropped cashmere would be perfect, Boden usually has them.

FWIW I got married in navy in November with just two witnesses. All being well hoping to celebrate our Silver anniversary in three months. DH said it was perfect just the four of us.

Agree navy cropped cardi would be great and maybe a little yellow rose corsage.

It’s beautiful OP- don’t buy a jacket or cardigan though! There is no stylish cover up option- although you could buy one of those denim jackets for the evening that says ‘Mrs XXX’ on the back. Personally I would show the beauty of the dress and it’s shape and deal with any cold or buy a dress with sleeves.

But equally, if you love the dress you posted initially and will be happy wearing it, then that is really all that matters.

The dress is fine, but it's not going to look good with a jacket over it. I'd wait for the Autumn collections to come in and look for something similar with a sleeve.

Or you could try some of the outlandish offerings from this thread and look like a cbeebies presenter!
