Do I look fat in this

I am a size 8/10 but i think I do shop at shops where the sizing is generous like seasalt, crew clothing, boden, joules etc. second dress is from outnet and by a designer called rachel zoe. I have always been petite so generally eat whatever I want but now that I am nearly 30, possibly this is not a great idea...

And I don't usually pay much attention to my figure. I focus a lot on makeup (which I love) and that takes 10 minutes everyday so after that and brushing my teeth and putting on contact lens, i just grab a dress, put it on, drag a brush through my hair and zoom out of the door. So I don't actually notice much how my figure looks until I go on holiday and my DH takes photos of me...

37 kg for a slightly-built nearly 5 foot teenager isn't that skinny. It's a bit skinny.

I'm size 6/8/10 depending on brand and weigh 50kg and I look fat in some photos. I'm a fair bit taller than the OP. It depends on what I am wearing.

The camera always adds a few pounds. Agree with others that the dress styles are not as flattering as they could be, for example dress 3 is hitting your leg at its widest point. Dressing is all about proportion and contrasting looser shapes with highlighting your slim points such as ankles.

I bet you wish you hadn't asked. You could wear something with a waist - the cold shoulder dress is a bit more flattering (if it didn't have the cold shoulders). The dresses are the wrong length for you - the first one literally does nothing for you, but it wouldn't do much for Kendall Jenner either. I used to put DD in T-shirt dresses with polka dots like that when she was 3.

Shorter length, as PP have said because if we could see your calves come in at the knee it would give you a more shapely leg. Waist or fitted waist, v neck because you do have boobs, non jersey fabric. I think a tea dress style would look lovely. And I don't know what is on your feet but please get something else - it looks like you've gone out in your socks.

I'm sorry but I haven't read every comment but I would not have put the age "nearly 30" with that person I see in those photos. I just think those clothes are not flattering for you. Clothes don't have to be tight or short and I appreciate your background. I think the way you stand as well is not enhancing your "look".

Sorry I got cut off again...those shops I associate with women in their 50/60s. How about treating yourself to an online style consultation ? Have a look on FB for a group called Style Sisterhood for ideas. Many stylists post free posts on there. They are just about to do an Autumn special.

You have a gorgeous figure but those dresses really do nothing for you. They make you look frumpy.

No. It might go in at the waist, but it's loose everywhere else so not form fitting at all.

That dress would be filed under 'frumpy' IMO.

I think that dress is similar to the others just the angle makes it look better? I suspect from front on it would look similarly shapeless?

No of course not, would definitely recommend slimming world if you feel a bit insecure about your weight!
