Sorry if there’s already a thread, couldn’t see one.

Just seen a pic of the happy couple here

All other issues aside, I love her style! I though she’d become a bit less boho and casual in recent months but the dress is a return to form :o

As for him, I think we can conclude from his wedding look that his hair physically cannot be brushed.

Oh my goodness she looks beautiful and I love love love the boho dress and floral crown 😍

Purplewithred · 30/05/2021 10:45

Love her hair and headdress.

Being in my 60s that dress looks awfully 1970s to me, but I'm sure it's the height of fashion and I am just turning into my mother.

FitYeDaeinYeMadRadge · 30/05/2021 10:55

The dress style isn’t for me, but she looks absolutely beautiful. The flower crown is stunning. The material of the dress is lovely. Definitely a dress for the willowy of frame, she wore it well.

Same! Grin

As a teen in the 70s, I wore 1940s style dresses and hats, which my mother just thought of as old fashioned, whereas I thought I was just being 'different' Grin

murbblurb · 30/05/2021 11:32

I quote Adam Kay on twitter : ' great, prime minister. Now can we have one without the clenched fist?'

And yes, totally 70s!!

OrchestraOfWankery · 30/05/2021 11:38

I think hs hair is styled mussily to carefully cover his bald spots.

He does look more like father of the bride than new husband though.

LunaNorth · 30/05/2021 11:38

She looks gorgeous, and very happy.

There’s a lid for every pan, I suppose 🤷🏼‍♀️

SpindleWhorl · 30/05/2021 11:39

It says 'Laura Ashley' to me. But I'm also old, and remember lady singers in floaty dresses singing on BBC1 prime time Saturday night.

As for the groom of doom, he's gritted teeth in a sack.

Floisme · 30/05/2021 11:39

It's pretty but a bit too fussy for my taste. I prefer Boris's suit. (I only call him 'Boris' on his wedding days.)

OrchestraOfWankery · 30/05/2021 11:40

Well, he's had a few goes round the cooker, hasnt he? Grin

itsgettingwierd · 30/05/2021 11:41

I loved it too. Very hippy in style and looked comfortable as well as elegant.

I thought she looked absolutely beautiful and very relaxed and happy.

Shame she was marrying Boris really 🤣

MonkeyPuddle · 30/05/2021 11:41

I think she looks utterly stunning. The joy in her face is just lovely.

MsRinky · 30/05/2021 11:42

Are we all looking at the same picture? I see a wonky flower crown poking her in the eye over some very brassy locks and a victorian nightie, whilst he just has a wonky buttonhole plus his everyday ill-fitting suit and the same tie he's wearing in all those photos of him with his previous mistress.

Tlollj · 30/05/2021 11:42

I really like it. Wish it was a full length pic.

PetuniaPot · 30/05/2021 11:43

The groom of doom😂.
She looks thrilled.
It takes all sorts to make the world.🤷

Ah yes the lady singers on prime time - Nana Mouskouri springs to mind.

He always looks like he's just been electrocuted.

She looks very 70s Laura Ashley but I like it.

EasyLifer · 30/05/2021 11:48

I am also shallow because my first thought on hearing about the wedding was wanting to see dress pictures! I think I like the dress but would like to see more photos and also bridesmaids, if there were any. I agree that Boris just looks like normal with a flower shoved on.

PetuniaPot · 30/05/2021 11:49

Yes the body language is interesting.

Yes if I was her I’d have hoped to see a more stylish/new tie, but I really like the Victorian nightie style dress - it’s just very her, very springtimey (is that a word) and relaxed. I think the flowers might look OTT on some but she carries it off (no pun intended) with her big smile.

Yes. She's been referencing 'Rabbit Heart' by Florence and the Machine, for inspiration, methinks.

She has a redder titian tint to her hair, I notice. Perhaps this is her natural colour: her complexion is fair, which suggests it might be. I think it looks very lovely indeed.

I wonder if the wedding breakfast was like in the Rabbit Heart video.

This is a Pre- Raphaelite look which can be achieved without great expense, which is great, and I think, with practice, one could decorate a whole flat to this theme without spending thousands on wallpaper, etc.

MrsBunHat · 30/05/2021 11:52

Best BoJo description ever! :o

“As for him, I think we can conclude from his wedding look that his hair physically cannot be brushed.”

Of course it can... that’s a style choice to wear his hair how he does, I mean, a bad choice, but he messes it up on purpose.

ElizabethTudor · 30/05/2021 11:54

My only thought, is how on earth can she want to shag that?

MrsBunHat · 30/05/2021 11:58

I don’t know Elizabeth but she’s hardly the first! Numerous younger, good looking, apparently sensible women have leapt into bed with him. He must have some charismatic appeal when you meet him I suppose.
