All other issues aside, I love her style! I though she’d become a bit less boho and casual in recent months but the dress is a return to form :o

As for him, I think we can conclude from his wedding look that his hair physically cannot be brushed.

I absolutely do think they have saved it up for a bad news week. Apparently the public were ushered out and in they piled within a half hour. Carrie will have had the dress on standby and Boris just shoved a buttonhole on one of his usual suits.

As to Boris' hair, I've always thought that's just part of his clown persona. At home I imagine he kicks back in a smoking jacket with his hair carefully slicked into a Rees-Mogg style and answers only to Alexander.

I think she looks lovely and they look happy.

I also think it’s shame people can’t ‘be kind’. Always something negative to say.

Why do so many people like it? It looks cringey like she bought it in a fancy dress shop. She may as well have got a zombie costume. Or a 2 person pantomime horse costume for her and Boris.

I think she can do better. In every way.

I have met him . He was a very popular MP and is quite quiet and interesting when you meet him.

I think she looks lovely and I am please they stuck to the rules and had a small quiet ceremony away from the press.

I love that style dress non wedding if that makes sense & for wedding I much prefer a looser silhouette & not off shoulder. It's what I wore when I get married.

Not a fan I’m afraid. The dress fabric looks thin, scratchy and cheap and it needs a slip underneath. The fauxho flower crown is too far forward and makes her look like a small child doing a school play.

I’ll keep my political opinions to myself as this is a S&B thread.

Gosh I love the dress. It's a lot like my wedding dress actually (so this thread is giving me a lot of insight into what my guests thought of it 😂)

That’s your opinion. I prefer it to brides who literally have everything hanging out , tanned orange and look common

We are all entitled to our opinion .

(But I can well believe this look is very ‘now’, given the absolutely dire state of every shop’s dress offerings this summer.)

I craved a dress like that for my '68 wedding, finished up with a mini version of it!

That's what I see.

Dreadful own goal from the Catholic church to allow him to marry in Westminster Cathedral. His previous conduct should surely have disqualified him. Twice divorced for infidelity, unable to confirm how many children he has, several of the children born outside wedlock - how does this qualify him to be married in church when many whose divorces were no fault of their own have been refused?

No it’s not only you, nothing about them personally but I just don’t see anything stylish at all.

He looks exhausted resigned, a mess. She looks gorgeous. She clearly loves him. God knows why.

I love the dress and flower crown. I tried a flower crown for my wedding but it just looked ridiculous on me

She looks stunning and the dress and headdress really suit her. Only thing I would have changed, if I was her, is the red nail varnish on her bare toes.
