All other issues aside, I love her style! I though she’d become a bit less boho and casual in recent months but the dress is a return to form :o

As for him, I think we can conclude from his wedding look that his hair physically cannot be brushed.

I think being PM massively helped in terms of getting married in a catholic church.

She looks beautiful, her choice of groom is grim.

I know a couple of of people who have met Boris Johnson, and who in no way share his politics, but who reported that he made them laugh. A lot. I find that can be a very attractive quality - dismiss it at your peril.

As for the suit, I think the way his clothes often look a bit too big is probably deliberate and, I imagine, down to clever tailoring.

Must be looking at a different photo to many. I think the dress is grim and the crown a mistake at her age.

Lovely and suitable dress does not take away the fact that the now Mrs Johnson has married a person whose inactions and actions have killed over 20,000 people. Rose West probably looked nice on her wedding day, or the woman who became Mrs Kray.

Her dress looks like a 70's nightie and he looks so old in comparison. Do you think they have been saving up getting married for a bad news week😂

I love her dress - I actually think she looks amazing. Her style is very nice most of the time I must say - and not what we'd usually associate or expect from PMs wife.

Half of me quite likes it (more so I the pictures in the fail where she's barefoot and he's jacketless), half of me thinks she looks like she's off to Cochella via Chelsea (or the Marc Jacobs ad as pp said). It's difficult to judge fairly as I dislike BJ so much and thus think she's probably not a great person, perhaps unfairly.

Oh pshaw newnortherer. This is a shallow thread about a dress. I did say “other issues aside” because there are other threads for talking about her husband’s many appalling failings, i am not a supporter of his in the least but this is style and beauty and about the dress!

Being shallow, I love the dress, thinks she looks beautiful and wish I could have found a dress like when I got married.

I thought it had been established that BJ has Uncombable hair syndrome? (I know it sounds made up, but it’s a real genetic condition) I might have imagined that though.

The flower crown is a bit Midsommar / Wicker Man, but she wears it well.

I am of the age that my wedding dress looked a bit like this bit Victoriana (but better I think )I didn't wear the may queen crown 'tho & my dh looked very handsome

I know that the shops are currently full of dresses that look like 1970s nighties but I don't think it suits her or the setting. The faux 'summer of love' vibe is jarring in the circumstances. She looks like a member of Pan's People. Might look better with a tambourine.

I think she looks lovely, I couldn’t carry off that style but she can. It makes her look younger than she is which means my first thought on seeing that picture was she looks like she’s with her grandfather.

A number of people who have met Johnson in person have reported him messing his hair deliberately. It’s part of the slightly eccentric mind on greater matters persona he projects.

I absolutely love that, she looks brilliant.
