Sorry if there’s already a thread, couldn’t see one.

Just seen a pic of the happy couple here

All other issues aside, I love her style! I though she’d become a bit less boho and casual in recent months but the dress is a return to form :o

As for him, I think we can conclude from his wedding look that his hair physically cannot be brushed.

She looks gorgeous. Great taste in wedding dresses, absolutely abysmal taste in men

PetuniaPot · 30/05/2021 12:02

I heard one journalist witter on wide eyed about how he was really shy and misunderstood.
So I'm guessing that's his angle.🤷

DontLookEthel · 30/05/2021 12:11

I think she finds him amusing, he often seems to be muttering asides to her on formal occasions and making her laugh.

Theydidntwin · 30/05/2021 12:12

It’s very pretty fabric, but I wish there wasn’t a strip of insertion lace right down the centre of the bodice revealing her bra behind it.

It’s probably my age and such things don’t matter any more. I’m so old I remember shopping in the first Laura Ashley shop in South Kensington as a student, and buying remnants of fabric there because that was all I could afford.

ElizabethTudor · 30/05/2021 12:13

@MrsBunHat

I don’t know Elizabeth but she’s hardly the first! Numerous younger, good looking, apparently sensible women have leapt into bed with him. He must have some charismatic appeal when you meet him I suppose.
Oh I know! But just why? How? Just imagine him naked? 🙈🙈🙈 I don’t care how much charisma he has. That’s a sight I don’t even want to imagine, let alone see. Misunderstood. My arse.
gagrag · 30/05/2021 12:14

I love the gown but think the flower crown doesn't suit the setting or groom.

LaBellina · 30/05/2021 12:14

I love the hippie style dress and the floral crown! It’s more Ibiza then Downing Street style but she looks amazing and very happy.
Congratulations to them both.

gagrag · 30/05/2021 12:16

are they other photos as I can only see 1 which pretty much hides her face?

LobotomisedIceSkatingFan · 30/05/2021 12:18

I quite like the dress, and she's a physically attractive enough woman, but really she looks like she should be chanting 'Daisy, Daisy, Daisy, Daisy' over a Marc Jacobs perfume ad. That bloody silly Coachella flower crown nonsense is slipping too far down her forehead, too.

I want to push it back

HideousKinky · 30/05/2021 12:20

I think she looks absolutely charming

RuthW · 30/05/2021 12:20

She looks so beautiful. Dress is stunning.

borntobequiet · 30/05/2021 12:21

I posted on another thread that her pose is straight out of Jackie magazine 1973. And he looks like a dummy. One of those photos you look at five years later and say “weird or what”?

NameyNameyNameChangey · 30/05/2021 12:22

Twitter comments have me creasing today:

twitter.com/NatashaC/status/1398927275207319553 has some real gems.

DobbyTheHouseElk · 30/05/2021 12:22

@MsRinky

Are we all looking at the same picture? I see a wonky flower crown poking her in the eye over some very brassy locks and a victorian nightie, whilst he just has a wonky buttonhole plus his everyday ill-fitting suit and the same tie he's wearing in all those photos of him with his previous mistress.
Grin

I like it. It’s quite a funny photo. They do look happy. I’m sure he is very charismatic and charms women into bed.

Blush I can almost see it...

HideousKinky · 30/05/2021 12:23

Can anyone explain why they were allowed to get married in a Catholic Cathedral when he is twice divorced?

Ragoo · 30/05/2021 12:23

I don't like the dress personally, or the flowers on her head. Congratulations to them though.

PetuniaPot · 30/05/2021 12:24

According to the papers the dress isn't a lovely vintage find but set her back quite a bit.😂 Very boho..not.

PetuniaPot · 30/05/2021 12:24

Faux boho?

Jubilate · 30/05/2021 12:25

Her dress, his suit are appropriate for the type of wedding they had. They both look good.

I'm not sure the personal comments about BJ's appearance would stay for long on here if he was female.

I can't really, but lots of people have. It's apparently permitted to have some form of Catholic wedding if one of you is a practising Catholic. Which she is. Apparently. I personally think the whole thing is so absurd that that aspect is the least of it, really.
DobbyTheHouseElk · 30/05/2021 12:27

The BBC said that he was allowed to marry in the Catholic Church because his previous marriages took place in C of E churches. I have no idea in the rules, I married a catholic in an Anglican Church so the rules are different.

Jocasta2018 · 30/05/2021 12:28

The Daily Heil has another pic of her barefoot & him looking scruffy in the garden of No 10...

(I'm embarrassed to say it was the first place I looked to see if there were any more pics of the bride's dress... They don't mention the price of any of their houses so I'm quite disappointed)

This article explains it: www.standard.co.uk/news/uk/catholic-church-boris-johnson-carrie-symonds-prime-minister-marina-wheeler-b937991.html
midsomermurderess · 30/05/2021 12:31

I think her dress is lovely. And her floral headdress. It looks very 1970s to me, but in a fresh and quite sophisticated way.
