I'm done with skinny jeans... what style are you wearing?

I don't know what's happened over lockdown (I suspect it's too much comfy loungewear) but I'm not enjoying wearing skinny jeans any more.

I don't feel particularly comfortable in them, and I just feel like I'm "over" them, I feel a bit dated when I'm wearing them.

What style jeans is everyone wearing now, which are your favourites please?!

It’s a good question! I’ve resorted to awful leggings as so comfy and stretchy and really am not very fit to be seen any more.

Ps slight caveat, I do not belong in the style section even on a good day

Wore my skinny jeans today after months of living in leggings and felt so uncomfortable! Looking for jean inspiration too, not sure I suit the baggy look as I'm only 5ft 1!

I agree, very much over the skinny jean. I'm on the hunt for a good pair of "Mom", just because they look so comfy!

Mom jeans make me look massive. I’ve got a pair of straight jeans that are really flattering.

Straight leg - MiH Niki are my favourites.
Slim - MiH Paris are slightly cropped with a little kick flare.
Boyfriend style - Hush Agnes are great for summer, vintage denim with a raw edged turn-up.
Straight with a bit of stretch - Levi’s 724.

I still like skinnies too, though!

I've just bought a pair of these M&S balloon jeans. Surprisingly flattering, and I feel much more up to date than when I wear my old skinnies.

Oooooh! Where from, please? Mum jeans are unflattering on me. And skinny jeans are not comfy and beautifully enhances my hanging belly. And let's not get started with the unpleasant view when crouching!

Sienna straight. They’re cheap, have a little stretch so they’re comfy and the waist isn’t too high. They’re much nicer than the pics on the website!

Straight leg and girlfriends jeans for me, when I actually wear jeans. You will have to pry my leggings out of my cold dead hands though

I wear mom jeans (I found the perfect pair & bought them in three colours!). I also bought some bootcut jeans which I want to wear with flat chunky sandals when it’s warmer

@OverTheRubicon I love those. What shoes do you wear with them?

I moved back into dungarees during the summer, New Look had a lovely pair with cut off culotte bottoms (had to crack the sewing machine out as I'm 5ft and the were ankle swingers on me)

I'm keen to wear them, but not quite brave enough....

The M&S Sienna jeans have potential, I think I'll order a pair to try.

@Sendmetobarbados I quite like those balloon jeans but I'm only 5ft 2 and fear they'd look ridiculous on me. I think Mom/Mum jeans may be the same.

I also have some M&S Siena jeans. They are very nice and comfy too.

I'm planning on chunky flat sandals and in the meantime my lace up boots and when it gets too hot for them, probably still my white trainers (maybe not still totally on trend but I'm not going to get rid yet).

They'd look much more flattering with high heels on those of us under 5"8 but heels feel so odd after such a long time at home.

I just got the Siena ones and they are definitely straight leg. Returning as i still feel like i cant tuck in

llNeverLetGoJack do the Siena ones stretch? Im debating a 14 rather than a 16 which is more comfy though

Sophia are higher waisted than Siena, a better fit for me (I have both)
