Sale buys - indulge me I’m sick

I’ve been in bed all Christmas and on strong antibiotics so have spent far too much time on the internet.... shopping.
I’m interested to know what people are buying. I’m not necessarily looking bargains so much as interesting pieces and ideas for styling them.
I’ve ordered three things so far... and will now stop...
A turquoise satin midi skirt (Wolf and Badger)
A muted pink oversized sweatshirt with pleated sleeves (also Wolf and Badger)
A black oversized (yes it’s a theme) jumper dress from Arket that I plan to wear over the satin midi or incorporate into the mumsnet “Swedish Architect” look. I have half an idea that the sweatshirt will go over the midi too but that would be bold.
What have all you lovely people been buying?
Also any ideas how I can style a turquoise satin (not pleated) midi would be appreciated.

I've bought nothing yet but have been given a New Look (sorry not more sophisticated ) gift card with a sizeable amount on to treat myself so I will be ordering later! So excited to get some new clothes, been a long time since I've practised enough self-care to bother about buying new things.

I've seen a lovely black 'leather' skirt and a dark green batwing jumper that I think would go great with black tights and some black ankle boots so will treat myself to those!

Some lovely midi dresses too, that I'd wear with white trainers when the spring rolls around (not sure if it'll still be a trend but the style suits me and my lifestyle so I'll stick with it again this year).

Love the sound of all your purchases, I'm not familiar with Wolf and Badger so have just had a nice browse of their website and if its the turquoise skirt I think then I would style with a fitted ballerina neck top and a biker jacket
I've bought a couple of bits in the Sezane archives sale - jumper and a coat thats far too smart for the school run and working from home but I'm dreaming of wearing it next year! Its been a horribly busy year at work but to say thank you my boss gave me a John Lewis voucher for Christmas and a beautiful Monica Vinader necklace I've been eyeing up for ages went into the sale so I used the voucher to treat myself. Got the kids some swimming stuff in the Boden sale in the hope that we might go somewhere with a pool at some point in 2021 (even if it is just our local sports centre!)

I have ordered:

Black pleather joggers, M&S
Oversize navy cashmere crew neck, Uniqlo
Couple of bits from Space.NK.

I haven’t looked properly yet.

Re your turquoise skirt, I would wear it with a grey cashmere crew neck, or grey marl sweatshirt, or a denim shirt and white trainers. Or a chunky navy roll neck and black lace up boots.

@PrincessConsuelaBH nothing wrong with new look!! I love a good midi dress too and love the idea of a “leather” midi skirt.
@polexiaaphrodesia and @HelloDulling I already have a ballet neck top, biker jacket, chunky knits (but not navy) as well as DMs and Airforce Ones for the trainer. I REALLY need to stop shopping but maybe an oversized grey marl sweatshirt is the last thing I need too.... you have both given me confidence that I’ll find multiple outfits in my wardrobe, thank you.

Ive just bought a long black puffer coat in the Debenhams sale. Ive already got a Rab one but its bloody boiling when I’m out shopping! I wanted a thinner one in black. My grandchildren bought me a lovely Mulberry scarf for Christmas and the coat will match it 🎅🏼

I've bought about 3 pairs of joggers and a hoodie from ASOS.... I am not inspired to buy anything "nice" since we can't actually go anywhere....

But what shops can I look at?
I've looked at the usual high street type places and been pretty uninspired by their sale stuff.... barely have anything in stock.

I've ordered walking boots from North Face, leggings from Sweaty Betty and a jumper from Hush! Can't wait for them all to arrive. Was tempted by Space NK but don't really need anything and am wanting to save money. X

I've been on the sofa all day eating buffet food and eating tv and browsing the Internet. I've ordered.

Two tops and a pair of sliders from river island.

Loads of clothes and some boots for DD's 6&4 from Matalan.

A pair of timberland boots for myself from office , was £130 and in the sale for £60 and free delivery. Bargain!

Bought myself a no7 skincare set, that way I get to try things like retinol without paying full price.

I've bought patent DM Chelsea boots, but unfortunately not in the sale
Now on the look out for some perfume but don't know what I fancy...

I've bought myself a new leather backpack from Smythson - I already have a couple and I use them constantly so taking advantage of a 50% discount to stock up on a new colour.

Frame jeans from Liberty. Tried the smaller size in store and they were just slightly on the tight size so I've ordered a size up in the hope they'll work.
Cashmere jumper from M&S - pink and stripy. Could quite possibly look horrible on. Don't usually buy from M&S so not sure what to expect but had to go on to order my mum some joggers and it caught my eye.
I've seen a dress I love on Net a Porter, but there's only 30% off. If it goes to 50% and they still have my size, I'll be having it!

I’ve just bought a rainbow striped dress from Etre Cecile. It looks like it’ll be comfy and layer nicely. I’m sooooo bored of jeans and leggings.
Not a sale buy, but I’m lusting after some fur lined DMs. It’s my birthday next week so if kind relatives give me money then I know what I’ll be buying.

A new hairdryer, straighteners and curling wand, all babyliss and coated £75 for all three on Amazon as a last minute deal just before Xmas. Very pleased with them.
Two Nuxe perfume sets from M&S, £17.50 down from £25.

Those are all sale buys but have also bought tones of make up and beauty stuff lately, an all saints leather jacket in the Black Friday sales not long ago, jewellery from regal rose. Merry Xmas to me! 😁

I bought some knee boots from Seasalt that I had my eye on for a couple of months now, they have already arrived and fit perfectly
