Sale buys - indulge me I’m sick

I’ve been in bed all Christmas and on strong antibiotics so have spent far too much time on the internet.... shopping.
I’m interested to know what people are buying. I’m not necessarily looking bargains so much as interesting pieces and ideas for styling them.
I’ve ordered three things so far... and will now stop...
A turquoise satin midi skirt (Wolf and Badger)
A muted pink oversized sweatshirt with pleated sleeves (also Wolf and Badger)
A black oversized (yes it’s a theme) jumper dress from Arket that I plan to wear over the satin midi or incorporate into the mumsnet “Swedish Architect” look. I have half an idea that the sweatshirt will go over the midi too but that would be bold.
What have all you lovely people been buying?
Also any ideas how I can style a turquoise satin (not pleated) midi would be appreciated.

@Zengarden001 same here! Almost everything from Hush has gone back this time around, which is unusual as they are usually keepers. I’m trying to be super picky though as I don’t actually need anything.

The dress from my second Cos parcel has just gone back - DH diplomatically said it wasn't the nicest dress he'd seen me in which reinforced my own view. Easy free return so all good.

Ordered a dress from Clarence & Alabama which is a keeper as are the Mother of Pearl dress and bras from John Lewis.

Just waiting for an H&M delivery of basics t-shirts and widelegged trousers which I would have ordered even if they hadn't been in the sales.

Sorry @CaveMum I meant to post a few days ago but I’ve been absorbed in the world of homeschool hell. I’m glad I gave you the nudge, that’s a really lovely jumper.

I just wanted to post to say thank you for all your lovely posts. I’ve seen enough threads on here descend into judgement and opinion even in style and beauty, but all the posts have been lovely and it’s been great to see everyone’s different styles celebrated. After all, it would be boring if we were all the same.
I’ve recovered from my illness that made me start the thread, and my takeaway from all of this has been the Stylebook app which I have been using since new year. Somewhat ironically it has inspired me to try and shop less and enjoy my wardrobe more.
The very shiny turquoise midi skirt never went back as lockdown hit and with sky high rates where I live I decided I’d take the hit on the £18 it cost. I will find a way to wear it I’m sure.

@Onedropbeat I love it! Don’t plan to wear it as a dress but layer over midi skirts or an oversized white shirt with the long sleeves of the shirt out IYSWIM. Not everyone’s style but I’m very happy.

I have loved this thread too. It’s nice to have a S&B thread that hasn’t descent into sniping about how much or little people have spent or accusations of being frumpy.
