Space NK 2020 Advent Calendar Thread

Hi,

I normally get the M&S calendar but went for the Beauty Anthology II from Space NK this year. Would be great to share the openings, discuss the products and do any swaps with anyone else with this one.

Please only discuss current day or previous days to avoid spoilers for people

I think it is fair to say you can post about the current day from 7am so people know to avoid the thread after that time if they haven’t opened yet.

Loved the candle. Had no idea what it was going to be. What was everyone’s favourite?

Hard to pick a favourite, especially as I haven't had a chance to use half the stuff just yet. I think my favourites would be the eyeshadow palette, the CT lipstick (likely to repurchase full size) and the Diptyque. Things I liked that surprised me are the AHA tonic (still to try the BHA) and the Olverum bath oil. Looking forward to trying the mascara and the hyaluronic serum. Unfortunately my face is still nippy when I moisturise so I don't think the Kate Somerville is for me Sad cos I really like the smell and the idea of it.

@ashmts your favourites are similar to mine! I thought the Kate Somerville smelt a lot like the Origins Ginzing moisturiser. Chocolate orangey?

I ordered the Kevin Auction face brush and small eye shadow brush - 2 of them. I really like their brushes.

I loved the smell and the idea of KS too but it is irritating even for bellow neck area. I am using it on elbows and knees now. This one gets thumb down from me

My favorites are the eye shadow palette, chantecaille mask, drunk elephant mask, olaplex oil and the bath oil

I am really looking forward using the candle and the hair mask

Very happy with The Diptyque travel spray (all gone!), AB Rich Cream, the full size M&G hand and body wash, the hand cream, mascara, self tan and the face cleanser is lovely too. It's not new to me but it's gentle and does the job

I will use the lipsticks and Sol de Janerio Rio Sunset Glow Oil too

Eve lom capsules, mini bronzer, mini bha are all products I have used or already have but hopefully I will get to use them for travel - when travel resumes

Dr Barbara Sturm Hyaluronic Serum - I repurposed it as hair serum, I don't like HA serums on my skin. Great as ingredient in creams but not separate serum for me

Already have and gifted - Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder Dim Light 1.4g

No use for me so I gifted - Living Proof PhD Dry Shampoo 92ml & REN Clean Skincare Ready Steady Glow Daily AHA Tonic 100ml

It's fantastic advent. I bought it when they have 15 off 45 and I used some points against it as well. The rest was present for my birthday in September. I would love it as advent or as birthday present again - best variety of products - hair, body, makeup, skincare and fragrances.

I had the Liberty calendar to open during December, but my partner gave me the Space NK one as a surprise Christmas present yesterday!

I’ve opened it today in a mad orgy of beauty products! I love it, in my view SO much better than the Liberty, streets ahead in fact.

My favourite is the KA eyeshadow palette, gorgeous. But bored with Pillow Talk and Nars Laguna (in every calendar for the last few years?) so they will be gifted, but I love everything else, some really top end skin care products.

Will definitely get Space NK again next year.

I'm starting to look forward to advent calendar time again 🙈
