Space NK 2020 Advent Calendar Thread

Hi,

I normally get the M&S calendar but went for the Beauty Anthology II from Space NK this year. Would be great to share the openings, discuss the products and do any swaps with anyone else with this one.

Please only discuss current day or previous days to avoid spoilers for people

I think it is fair to say you can post about the current day from 7am so people know to avoid the thread after that time if they haven’t opened yet.

Looking forward to this!

I used today's this morning and think my skin has felt nice and soft all day. I would have preferred a few more capsules rather than the travel case though, especially given travel is not really happening right now. Pleased though.

Incidentally has anyone noticed there's a little riddle on the back of each box hinting at the contents? Mine's in the bathroom and I spotted it while having a wee this morning Blush

Really excited about this! Hourglass stuff looks fab and I don't own any of it. Watched a quick YouTube video to check it just goes all over your face and I am convinced I look more glowy. Not even a video call today to show it off though!

I’m happy with today’s. I love hourglass, I’ve got the palette & used all of the face powders & blushers, apart from the bronzer which I don’t really use. Can’t wait for tomorrow!

I'm really pleased with today's, I've heard great things about Hourglass but have never been able to justify buying the palette for the price. But if this is as good as I've heard... Also even better, I had totally forgotten this was in the calendar (even after the accidental spoiler on the other thread yesterday, I thought it was a mistake) so lovely surprise today.

Very happy to try todays DE mask. I was told it can be used as night time cream. I am big DE fan and it's great to try such good size before deciding to buy or not! I think this is my favourite item so far.

I love the Drunk Elephant name and packaging but was struggling to justify price so really pleased to have a mini to try.

Having hourglass and drunk elephant for last two days has been great!

I’ve just put this on after cleansing my face with the eve lom. The recommended 4-5 pumps seemed a lot, but my skin feels so soft & I'm leaving it on as an overnight mask.

So happy with today’s it is a brand I’ve wanted to try for ages. I always loved the M&S calendar but this has really taken it to a new level! I’m feeling very spoilt!

I am bit meh about it. I am not big fan of HA serums in general. Yesterday item as my favourite so far.

@AllTheDogsIveLovedBefore agreed, days 1-3 I wasn't thrilled but days 4-6 have impressed me. Really want to try this purely to see if the (ridiculous) price is justified. £85 RRP for the 10ml!

I was gobsmacked at the price of today's bottle, here's hoping I look 10 years younger by Xmas! Loving everything I've received so far and it's even nicer because I've not peeked - never managed this before but seem to have cast iron willpower this year wish that extended to crisps and wine .

I can report that the drunk elephant as an overnight mask works well. My skin was so soft this morning. I will try today’s serum tomorrow.

The only 'problem' (first world problem) is that I don't want to try everything at the same time cos then I won't know what's working. I tried the REN last night and I'm not expecting miracles but actually I've had a stubborn spot for a few weeks and the redness seems to have gone right down.

Dr Barbara Strum is silly overprized. It's hyaluronic acid serum, very inexpensive ingredient. I tried her face cream, 60 euro per 20ml from gift with purchase. It's really lovely to use but there is no way I would justify the cost

I like trying expensive products like this in advent, I wouldn't buy it on full price but lovely to get chance to try it
