Birkenstocks- yep. I get they're comfy. Unless you have very small, tanned, beautiful manicured feet, you're rocking the Frodo Feet look.
Thankfully Saltwater sandals seem to have not been so scattergunned all over MN this summer. Perhaps the company didn't have time for the "subtle" product placement threads that are usually so obvious.

I don't really mind any trends as long as I can avoid them myself if I don't like them. It's the ones that become so mainstream you can't find an alternative that scare me. So even though they did eventually go away (so sorry op, not quite on-thread) I'm going to nominate low waisted trousers.
