Trends you hate that just won't go away!

I'm still seeing so many cold shoulder tops. Who is buying these monstrosoties?!

Ruffles don't seem to be going anywhere either.

Everyone saying skinny jeans, surely they’re OK for wearing with boots?

Beige clothes. We went shopping yesterday and the shops are bursting with beige clothes. No one looks good in them.

Mind you the other "seasonal colours" weren't much better- lilac, duck egg blue, pale khaki.

I feel far safer on the tube escalators in trainers than sandals.
Another vote for overdone eyebrows and false lashes.

Even if they aren't skinny they are all tapered to the ankle and still give that chicken drumstick look if that's your shape.

Also the trend for young women to have loads of fillers, big fake lips, heavy makeup, massive nails and huge eyelashes. It's seems so popular.

I worry for their self esteem.

Those voluminous buffet style dresses. They look very striking on Instagram, but in real life they look too try hard, especially if worn with clumpy trainers.

Those dresses with cut out bits. I don't know what they're called but I really don't understand why anyone wants the sides of their dresses cut away.

Silly eyebrows and those lashes that look like bushes.

hair buns esp. on men, croydon face lifts, crop tops and tops that are waaay too small for the wearer that rolls of flab are caught between the fabric.
dd 2 is attractive but as soon as she puts on 'the eyebrows' i inwardly think reduce the depth by half and you'd look so much better, as they become the most prominant thing on her face.

Men/boys with long hair/man buns.
Long pointy fake nails - I always think of the germs lingering underneath them.

Toeless boots
Leggings worn as trousers, that show everything you should never show
Leopard print
Fake talons
Inflated lips
Hideous thick beetle brows Who on earth even considered they might be attractive
Overdone Botox, mask-like faces are absolutely ridiculous.

this is so true. what happens as they get older and their lips have been over filled, botex over done et al ? that's going to cause even more issues.

Contouring! Dreadful trend.

Black solid slug eyebrows! Dreadful trend.

Over inflated filled lips! Dreadful trend.

Butt implants! Dreadful trend.

Skinnies worn with the right top and footwear. Love them.

Trainers with dress’s (have to be the right combo) Love them.

Neutrals. Love them.

Skinny jeans suit me.

Trends I hate:
Slug eyebrows
Those eyebrows that look like they have been shaved off then tattooed on.
Acrylic nails.

Cropped trousers.
Three quarter length sleeves (not a trend but I don't like them)

Athleisure - was in the supermarket the other day and going up the escalator before me was a very overweight woman in black leggings. Her legs looked like pillows squashed into sausage skin. She had a black thong underneath.

Frills and flounces, especially on sleeves

I didn't realise cold shoulder tops were still around. Those potato tops were really bad.

All womens sportswear having pink on it in some form.
Batwing sleeves.
Ruffles and frills.
The 'keep calm and..' slogan.

But legs do look like parsnips anyway, we aren't lego figures of course the ankle is thinner and narrower than the top of the thigh! Skinny jeans are far more flattering than trunk legs effect of wide cropped trousers and look nicer with boots.

But under chin beards? I don't like beards generally but under the chin ones? They are just gross.

Love man buns! It's a sort of tidy, hippy look.

I live in could shoulder tops in the summer- helps those with flabby upper arms they are a god send

I also hate slug eyebrows. Especially black ones.

Animal print anything.
Long, fake nails that click on phone screens.
Big thick fake eyebrows. Sometimes my face goes on its own when I see the more ridiculous ones always with thick orange foundation. I have to nudge the dc not to stare. What happened to make up accentuating your natural features instead of creating fake and freaky ones?
Trout pouts.
High waisted anything. I have endometriosis and IBS that causing bloating so anything above my navel is very uncomfortable.
Oversized handbags instead of rucksacks for school.
Rolled up skirts for school. I'd have them all in trousers as I don't want to see girls' underwear or butt cheeks thank you very much.

Awful heavy make up on young women that makes them look like plastic zombie dolls. It must be sooo time consuming too.
