Grin

SisterAgathaVanHelsing · 17/02/2020 20:56

No.

Scabetty · 17/02/2020 20:56

Would have to see the woman and the outfit.

Scabetty · 17/02/2020 20:57

Su Pollard?

EmmaC78 · 17/02/2020 20:58

No but it not an age thing. They are awful sorry.

Lordfrontpaw · 17/02/2020 20:58

I don’t think anyone should wear them - sorry but they are butt ugly.

SurpriseSparDay · 17/02/2020 20:59

In other words “Is a middle aged woman allowed to choose her own shoes or is she, by reason of having lived a certain number of years, suddenly too stupid to be allowed such choice?”

Hmm
SpottyShoeBow · 17/02/2020 20:59

I can confirm that I am not Su Pollard Grin

I'd wear them because I like them!

You crack on love!!

SpottyShoeBow · 17/02/2020 21:00

They are Doc Martens, does that help?

OP posts:
Lordfrontpaw · 17/02/2020 21:01

Not really Grin

ShirleyPhallus · 17/02/2020 21:01

A middle aged woman could. But a middle aged woman shouldn’t.

Nor should young women, old women, fat women, brunette women, educated women, hungry women, hairy women, loud women. Basically, any women.

ShirleyPhallus · 17/02/2020 21:01

They’re clearance for a reason Grin

JohnMcCainsDeathStare · 17/02/2020 21:01

Yes.
I've got the black ones. They are the ones I wear with dresses when I'm dressing up as an adult.
PS I'm 40 btw

SpottyShoeBow · 17/02/2020 21:02

Gosh. You're a tough crowd. Have I posted in AIBU by mistake? Grin

BeNiceToYourSister · 17/02/2020 21:02

Not my personal taste OP, but if you like them why should age be a factor? Wear what you like and feel good in!

Shenanagins · 17/02/2020 21:02

I think it all depends on your style as if done with the right look could be ok but the wrong look and you will look like a trying too hard middle age woman.

MrsGrindah · 17/02/2020 21:03

They are horrible. But I’m not wearing them so knock yourself out!

SpeedofaSloth · 17/02/2020 21:03

Yes. I like them, OP!

SpottyShoeBow · 17/02/2020 21:03

I adore the black ones. My name is a tribute. They come with both black and spotty bows I believe. They are on my list.. Though obvs now I am slightly worried about that Grin

You can wear whatever you feel like. They're not my cuppa tea but they might look fab on you. Enjoy rocking them.

Lordfrontpaw · 17/02/2020 21:05

It’s a no (and I usually have rather ‘out there’ taste in shoes and even I’m not tempted).

AvocadoAdvocate · 17/02/2020 21:06

Oh dear.

TARSCOUT · 17/02/2020 21:06

Not my taste but if that's your style then yes you can wear them. I'm always envious of those with confidence to wear things out the norm. Still don't agree with older woman having long hair but that's a whole different post 🤣🤣🤣

WanderingTrolley1 · 17/02/2020 21:07

They’re so unattractive. I cannot envisage anyone wearing them.
