Let's hope for some neutral press for Remembrance Sunday. I was hope William would also fly out to Japan for the rugby.

latedecember1963 · 29/10/2019 11:39

Thank you, Queen!

SenecaFalls · 29/10/2019 11:41

Thanks, Queen.

SerafinaPekkola · 29/10/2019 11:43

:)

IfWishesWereFishes · 29/10/2019 12:08

New thread, all sparkly and shiny!

beanaseireann · 29/10/2019 12:09

Thank you QueenoftheAndals.

FiveTwoFaster · 29/10/2019 12:26

I guess there is no way of doing both Rugby and Remembrance Sunday is there? Not without using a particularly gas guzzling form of transport anyway! I think Harry is the English patron and William is the Wales one but logistically it’s all a bit tight for anyone to do both.

InvisibleWomenMustBeRead · 29/10/2019 12:42

Thanks for the new thread. I'm so glad Harry is flying out for the rugby and also wish William would go too. It's fantastic for England and would be a great show of support for the country and unity with each other and hopefully shut all they naysayers up! Plus it means that hopefully Remembrance Sunday will be about the occasion and not the brothers first time together in public (& then we can properly appreciate the clothes without the distraction).

TSSDNCOP · 29/10/2019 12:47

Isn't the final this Saturday and the Remembrance Service the following week? It would be easy enough to attend both for both brothers.

FawnDrench · 29/10/2019 12:55

Yes they are a week apart on consecutive weekends, so feasible to attend both.

FiveTwoFaster · 29/10/2019 13:10

Oh yes! Of course they could - I’m ahead of myself because of poppies!

BlingLoving · 29/10/2019 13:12

I bet if Wales had made the final William might have gone!

Thanks for the new thread Queen. 🙂 I quite like CPM's skirt - is it blue?

Yep, rugby final and Remembrance Sunday are a week apart, so should be do-able.

Talking of Remembrance Sunday, was it last year the photographers captured the side eye between Camilla & Kate re HM?

CurlyWurlyTwirly · 29/10/2019 13:24

Thank you!
Will be back later with my report of the Angela Kelly book

BlingLoving · 29/10/2019 13:26

@curlywurly - yes please. Although frankly, I'm probably going to buy it no matter what. The Hello articles all claim it was done with Queen's blessing. Which is interesting as there seem to be a lot of anecdotes about her. I mean, so far, they're all amusing and show her as a real person but still.

CurlyWurlyTwirly · 29/10/2019 13:31

@BlingLoving
It is so far 80% about Angela Kelly and how she does her role for the Queen. HM is mentioned in various anecdotes.
There’s some great photos of the Queen looking very relaxed!
Also Angela changing the Pearl / emerald drops on the Vladimir tiara.
I’ll see if I can post and photos!

frugalkitty · 29/10/2019 13:32

Thanks for the new thread Queen

StCharlotte · 29/10/2019 13:34

Thanks Queen Smile

CurlyWurlyTwirly · 29/10/2019 13:37

I was a bit Shock at the first photo!

I’m guessing the Queen wants a different side of her to be shown; otherwise she wouldn’t have authorised the book.

Blimey! Had her Maj really endorsed this book? I wonder what she’s playing at?

QueenOfTheAndals · 29/10/2019 14:39

That's a hilarious photo of HM! Doesn't look like a very recent one though.

Thank you for the new thread Queen.

Love the photo you posted of HM Curly

Re K&W - I suspect it’s a bit like my dparents- my dad thinks he’s boss & but it’s my mum who really is.

There is a Greek saying - the man is the head of the household but the woman is the neck & she can turn that head any way she wants.

beanaseireann · 29/10/2019 15:28

WineorGinorBoth
I love that Greek saying. Smile

CurlyWurlyTwirly · 29/10/2019 15:49

Angela Kelly is feisty, loyal to the Queen, and probably the closest thing she’s got as a confidante. I’ll keep reading!
( so far I have counted 14 different apple green dresses)
