Rich idiots pay tens of thousands of dollars to shoot in Africa this is a controlled cull. Their money pays for the parks security, employees etc. so yes I think it is a good thing. I expect others not to agree though.

Fashion throwback/inspiration - Hobbs coats

Kate's coats are usually higher end made to measure ones but here are some ones by Hobbs.

I think there's a new contender for the title of Cutest Royal Kid - the Crown Prince of Bhutan.

Adorable! With those good looking parents of his I guess it's no surprise.

I see what you mean about them being neither opaque nor sheer @MrsGrindah - though I have black and navy tights in a wide range of deniers. I'm going to have to revise my whole approach to tights!

Sorry - I was working this afternoon, but see that other posters have said that she was never officially Princess Diana, although she was referred to as that by the press and us commoners! Grin

I remember listening to the radio before her wedding, and hearing that Diana Spencer would not be Princess Diana, but Diana, Princess of Wales or Princess Charles. Sounded odd then, and still does! Giving my age away.

According to the royal family's website:
"Unless decided otherwise, a Queen consort is crowned with the King, in a similar but simpler ceremony. If the new Sovereign is a Queen, her consort is not crowned or anointed at the coronation ceremony. After the present Queen was crowned The Duke of Edinburgh was the first, after the archbishops and bishops, to pay homage to her"

I think William and Harry are worried about animal conservation rather than about animal welfare as such. So hunting wild boar which (I assume) are plentiful is different to hunting rhino, which are at serious risk of extinction.

I think 10% of each new thread is taken up with people place-marking or thanking Queen for starting the new thread! Grin

PS. Thanks Queen!
