Haha Perdito! I would be terrible in that while I'm pretty good at messaging across the board, what I know about how to do PR in context of tabloid press is pretty finite. But I DO think they need a lesson in messaging and simplified answers. They are making a mistake I see a LOT with my clients in that they are overestimating the power of a good argument or rational discussion. It just doesn't work that way.
Harry's letter was heartfelt and I think it really tugged at a lot of heartstrings BUT.... I think it could have been shorter, snappier, and more direct without losing the emotion!
(I'll tell you another group that could absorb these lessons - schools. I've lost count of the number of parents at different schools I've had this conversation with about how the communication is too much, too extensive, too scattergun....
