Fab title Queen Grin thanks for the new thread.

RomaineCalm · 18/10/2019 11:24

Thanks Queen and great title.

whitershadeofpale · 18/10/2019 11:36

Not a fan of this latest look, but Kate looks very happy and relaxed on this tour, she has a smile where you can really tell when she's being genuine.

The outfit today looks like something id wear for the school run.

SleepwalkingThroughLife · 18/10/2019 11:54

Someone on the last thread posted about turning a sari into a sari dress, can you tell me more about that? Any photos? It sounds lovely.

Gooseysgirl · 18/10/2019 11:57

Not a fan of the black/white number on KM. Max on the other hand is resplendent in orange today.

itswinetime · 18/10/2019 11:58

It's a bit more business like this morning I prefer her in colours but this style is still much better than her usual coat dress or skinny jeans so let's hope that sticks!

I agree the I think they have both looked happy and relaxed recently, which is nice to see as William can sometimes come across a big tense when there is so much press around

Spudlet · 18/10/2019 12:00

Blimey Fate, your school run is a lot smarter than mine Grin

itswinetime · 18/10/2019 12:00

Marking!

Max in her orange and the lady in the yellow behind her look like they’ve gone for a citrus Opal Fruits (showing my age there) theme. But in a good way!

RomaineCalm · 18/10/2019 12:10

Maybe just me but I really don't like Max's orange outfit. Just needs a green leaf on the hat i- reminds me of the 'Outspan Car' from the 70s.

AppleKatie · 18/10/2019 12:14

I’m not a massive fan of the black and white Kate outfit above- although I do like her shoes and they at least match! Wink

The orange is nice in an iconic photo sort of way but I suspect it’s a bit ‘much’ in real life...

BlingLoving · 18/10/2019 12:26

I like what Kate's wearing today. TO be honest, I've loved her look generally - it's felt professional, attractive, flattering and appropriate (although I hate the word appropriate in this context). She's looked gorgeous without weird issues about where the outfits come from or whether they're right for the moment etc.

As for Harry, I actually have a great deal of sympathy for him and every time I hear people say that his war on the press is ill advised my hackles rise. There's a huge difference between accepting the reality of living a life of privilege in the public eye and the undeniably hate-filled campaign the media have waged against him and, more noticeably, Meghan. And accepting a certain amount of interest when you're out and about privately is very different to the press being extremely intrusive - eg I saw something on Twitter (admittedly, no way to know if it's true) that suggested they'd been trying to get into the British Consulate with long-lenses to see Archie while in Cape Town.

As for moving away - I don't think that the very low chance of him becoming regent down the line is a reason not to. it's the 21st century, if, god forbid, something happened to both his father and brother, he could relocate back to England to be close to his nephew pretty damn quick. Also, no idea of legalities, but at this point, I'd have thought that Kate could act in George's stead of necessary.

Rhubarbisevil · 18/10/2019 12:32

Thanks for the new thread queen. You are beautiful!

I love the way William went to the back of the plane and told the press that he had been flying the plane. Everyone laps it up when he is mocking himself and self-deprecatory.

As ever, they are consummate professionals. HMQ has taught them well and she needs to turn her attention to H&M now to reign (geddit?) back in.

SenecaFalls · 18/10/2019 12:52

Now he hasn’t got this level of goodwill any more he’s laying into them.

And when did level of good will change? When he married an African-American woman.

I am puzzled as to why cameras and flash are distressing Harry so much now. In the past it didn’t seem to bother him. I wonder if it’s because he feels he needs to protect Meghan? She’s well used to cameras and flash and being in the public eye.

I haven't seen the documentary, but is this just essentially part of his reaction to the way the tabloid press in the UK has treated Meghan?

As someone said, there is a lot of interest in them in the US. And quite a bit of the coverage here of late has been about racist attitudes in the UK being whipped up by certain segments of the media.

UrsulaPandress · 18/10/2019 12:53

Great title!

Max looks like she's been tangoed. When I was about 6 someone asked what my favourite colour was. For some bizarre reason I said orange, and I've hated it as a colour ever since.

SenecaFalls · 18/10/2019 12:57

Under the current Regency Act, the regent would be the next person in the line of succession who is age 21 or over, so that would be Harry. For Kate to be regent, the Regency Act would have to be amended because she would not be the next person in the line of succession over 21. There is precedent, though. The Act was amended to make the DofE eligible to be regent during the minority of Charles. Otherwise the designated regent would have been Princess Margaret.

Kate: I'm the most literally dressed royal!
Max: hold my drink...

@SenecaFalls That's interesting, I always thought it was the old DoG as he was the most senior male royal?

And I suppose yesterday's flight incident goes to show that nothing is certain Confused

Love the crossover shoes. I have a pair of them so comfortable.

banivani · 18/10/2019 13:02

Very good title! Max has to wear orange, she's Dutch.

I'm adding a film of CPV out for a walk with PD and PO. He zooms by on his balance bike , stops short, shouts "plastic! plastic in nature!" and zooms back so they can tidy it up.
