Anyone up for a live personal shopper thread?

I'm in John Lewis at the moment at my personal shopper appointment. I booked it to find a dress for a family wedding but I've now found that dress (Coast swishy princess dress for those who saw my other thread!).

I'm on maternity leave but back in work soon so thought I'd do a work wear session instead. My shape has completely changed after having my second baby 11 months ago so nothing fits right

Just met the personal stylist. He seems lovely. He's gone to find me some new clothes!

I'll post when he's out of the room, obviously don't want to be rude being on my phone while he is here!

For anyone who's interested in extras, I was offered lemon or orange juice or water. I heard that JL offer Prosecco at these appointments but maybe not at 10am!!

The room is completely private and spacious. There is a dressing room with lockable door inside the personal shopper suite so you're not changing in front of the stylist and they don't need to leave the room every time you get changed. It's lovely actually. Can't hear what's going on outside in the main store.

Following with interest! I feel like I'm going to have to do something similar when I go back to work next year.

Quite like this red top and navy trousers. My legs are short even though I'm 5ft 8 tall but the trousers are comfortable and the length is good.

Really like the feel and cut of this Hobbs dress but not sure I'd wear it to the office

Unfortunately can't post photos of everything I've tried so I'm posting photos of things I like. It's definitely an eye opener. There are colours and cuts that I wouldn't even have tried on. I wouldn't have tried that red top but it is very nice and comfortable for the office.

Couldn't get the Fenn Wright Manson trousers to zip up I'm a size 18 and everything else he's chosen in size 18 fits apart from these pants! Damn you, FWM!!!

I like both pics! I don't where you'll be working, but I'd have thought you could dress down the blue dress for an informal workplace and up with a blazer for somewhere more formal.

LOVE the cut and fit of this Phase Eight dress but it's very stripey and I'm not sure I can get past the stripeyness!!!

The shape and style of the striped dress is nice, but not sure on the stripes! Looks great on you though!
