Anyone up for a live personal shopper thread?

I'm in John Lewis at the moment at my personal shopper appointment. I booked it to find a dress for a family wedding but I've now found that dress (Coast swishy princess dress for those who saw my other thread!).

I'm on maternity leave but back in work soon so thought I'd do a work wear session instead. My shape has completely changed after having my second baby 11 months ago so nothing fits right Sad

Just met the personal stylist. He seems lovely. He's gone to find me some new clothes!

I'll post when he's out of the room, obviously don't want to be rude being on my phone while he is here!

M&S are terrible.

jpclarke · 02/08/2019 13:31

By sight? That's a bit mad but I hope you find some comfy underwear.

Cup size is relative to band size.

Well that's pretty different from the 40C you thought you were Grin Enjoy your new bra!

Ninkaninus · 02/08/2019 14:06

👍👍👍

HairyDogsInUnusualPlaces · 02/08/2019 14:09

Yay!

AreWeAnywhereNear · 02/08/2019 14:17

Woohoo, glad you had the bra intervention. I had mine a few years ago, 36B from M&S to a 34DD - M&S are shite for bra measuring & yes that's a very technical bra intervention term Wink

OhTheShoes · 02/08/2019 14:34

Bravissimo are bloody amazing. Their customer service is fab and I love the selection of bras! They are expensive (some) but I won't shop anywhere else now. Well done! I love a new bra!

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 03/08/2019 18:15

Yay re new bra!

Spam88 · 03/08/2019 18:45

Makes such a difference - your bra actually stays in place!

I was wearing a 34AA, which aside from anything else were really bloody hard to find. I'm now in 30DDs generally and am slightly obsessed with wonderbra. BoB put me at a 28 band actually but don't think I could tolerate tighter than 30.

Myshitisreal · 12/08/2019 09:57

That's amazing op. Just shows the difference a good fitting bra can make. I only use bravissimo myself but someone said asda sell big cup sizes so that's on my list to try out. 4 bras and 2 pairs of reduced pants set me back £142 a week or two ago 🤯 🤮
