Have I made a terrible mistake going blonde? (With pics)

Just went from brown-ish to blonde a few days ago and I am really not sure I like it!! I am seriously considering to go back to the hairdresser and dye it darker again.

Mumsnetters, please give me your honest opinion! Should I stay blonde or go back to brown?

PS: I am terribly un-photogenic, so please forgive the odd facial expression in both images Grin

I prefer you blonde ( and I'm usually team brunette) it looks great with your skin tone and totally natural.

DeadZed · 13/10/2018 09:58

I think you are very beautiful and the blonde looks good on you.

AnyFucker · 13/10/2018 09:58

It's lovely ! What are you talking about ?

hungryhippie · 13/10/2018 09:59

I prefer the blonde. it really suits you

Brownboots · 13/10/2018 10:00

I like it blonde. I prefer the cut in the dark photo though Grin

You're not unphotogenic in the slightest.

spreadingchestnuttree · 13/10/2018 10:01

You look like a model in the blonde photo!

kalinkafoxtrot45 · 13/10/2018 10:01

Blonde looks just fine on you.

LostInShoebiz · 13/10/2018 10:01

I had to read your post a couple of times to understand it (slightly hungover). I thought the blonde pic on the left was the one you took to the hairdresser as an example and the right hand one was the result. You look AMAZING blonde!

GlitteryFluff · 13/10/2018 10:02

They both look lovely.
I do prefer the brunette photo though. But that's not to say the blonde isn't nice iykwim.

hellojim · 13/10/2018 10:02

From those 2 photos I much prefer you blonde, it really suits your face, skin tone and eye colour.

dressup · 13/10/2018 10:02

Blonde!!!! I honestly thought it was a model picture you look amazing

PennyMordauntsLadyBrain · 13/10/2018 10:03

I prefer the brunette look but that is just a personal preference- I definitely wouldn’t say the blond doesn’t suit you!

Ohyesiam · 13/10/2018 10:03

I looked at the blond pic and thought you had posted a photo of a model to illustrate what you wanted to achieve.
You are stunning, and photogenic. Please don’t doubt yourself.

Overyou · 13/10/2018 10:04

Blonde suits you!

HiGunny · 13/10/2018 10:05

The blonde is gorgeous on you, and I usually prefer brunette. Keep it!

Spam88 · 13/10/2018 10:06

You look great with either OP, but stick with the blonde I say.

Laac · 13/10/2018 10:06

In my opinion you look 100% better blonde! And you are photogenic Smile

Cherrypie32 · 13/10/2018 10:07

You look edgier dark, softer blonde. Depends which is more you and your style/personality. Darker roots will grow through soon if you give it awhile which will give you best of both.

user1457017537 · 13/10/2018 10:07

Both lovely photos but I prefer the brunette one. Think you are a bit pale to be blonde.

ElfID · 13/10/2018 10:08

You look hot with both colours!

The blonde totally works, don't worry.

desperatehousewife2 · 13/10/2018 10:10

You’re gorgeous either way but I prefer the blonde

NC4Now · 13/10/2018 10:11

I was about to say the brunette is edgier. I like an edgier style, but if that’s not you, stay blonde. Both are nice.
I think I prefer the texture of the brunette. The blonde is a flatter style, iyswim.

Bluntness100 · 13/10/2018 10:11

The blonde is much better, you really suit it.

CoperCabana · 13/10/2018 10:11

In my view you look a bit edgier brunette and a bit ‘softer’ blonde but you are totally beautiful in both pics and therefore a total cow bag!Grin

nickyschof · 13/10/2018 10:11

The blonde is lovely...it really suits you.
