Have I made a terrible mistake going blonde? (With pics)

Just went from brown-ish to blonde a few days ago and I am really not sure I like it!! I am seriously considering to go back to the hairdresser and dye it darker again.

Mumsnetters, please give me your honest opinion! Should I stay blonde or go back to brown?

PS: I am terribly un-photogenic, so please forgive the odd facial expression in both images Grin

The blonde definitely suits you. 🙂

BrightonGallery7 · 13/10/2018 18:00

My husband thinks so too.

Ellapaella · 13/10/2018 18:13

For me the brunette is the winner. In both pictures you look very attractive but with the brown hair I think you look absolutely stunning. It's edgy and quite would make me do a double take. I bet you turn a few heads OP!

Moominfan · 13/10/2018 18:21

You look great with either

neveradullmoment99 · 13/10/2018 20:29

Both look good. I too thought it was a model shot. Tbh, you look great with the blonde but I think the brown brings your beautiful eyes out.

hannnnnnnxo · 13/10/2018 20:36

Just depends on your personality and preferred aesthetic.

Brunette looks edgy, striking and different. If that matches your persona, I can see why you’d miss it! It’s sultry, bold etc. Brings your eyes out and suits the makeup in that photograph.

Blonde looks nice and classic, but also a bit basic. It’s homely and quite a ‘middle class mum that likes horses’ aesthetic for want of a better description?? But you know what I mean and if that suits your personality or not

ItsAndTarts · 13/10/2018 20:46

Someone need an ego boost?

Fadingmemory · 13/10/2018 20:47

I like both but prefer the blonde

BrightonGallery7 · 13/10/2018 20:50

I actually don’t like the brown stripy hairstyle all. The eyebrows are too dark, also.

Maybe the more natural brows in the blonde pic are the reason the blonde look is preferable.

EnriqueTheRingBearingLizard · 13/10/2018 20:51

The blonde looks rocks it.

strawberrypenguin · 13/10/2018 20:55

I think it really suits you. You look lovely.

BabyGoatsInPyjamas · 13/10/2018 20:57

You are gorgeous!

SequinsOnEverything · 13/10/2018 21:04

I much prefer the blonde!

doctorboo · 13/10/2018 21:23

You look great blonde AND brunette! I’m so bloody jealous!

MrsLucas · 14/10/2018 03:30

Brown is way cooler.

Bluesheep8 · 14/10/2018 07:32

I prefer the brunette. You have a stunning face op, I thought it was a pic of a model!

Runningishard · 14/10/2018 07:41

I’ve never been a fan of blonde hair/brown eyes combo. I do like the blonde colour but brunette is better on you

Ilikecakes · 14/10/2018 08:14

Either is lovely! Brown cooler but more to do with the cut than colour as pp have said. I'm loving your eye makeup though, can you talk me through it pretty please?!

sparkling123 · 14/10/2018 09:32

I think you suite both, it is a really nice job with the blonde, personally I like it and would keep it. It makes your eyes stand out more.

sparkling123 · 14/10/2018 09:32

Suit, not suite! Haha

Soontobe60 · 14/10/2018 09:35

The blonde looks great. In the brunette one you look slightly masculine, but still gorgeous.

IfyouseeRitaMoreno · 14/10/2018 09:40

Brunette. Definitely. More personality.

ChodeofChodeHall · 14/10/2018 20:40

OP, you are an absolute stunner dark and blonde, you don't need to worry about any of it.

AhoyDelBoy · 15/10/2018 00:43

I wouldn’t say a terrible mistake but the brunette is definitely better IMO Smile

GladAllOver · 15/10/2018 17:40

Well OP that hasn't really helped you has it :)
Lots of votes for both colours!
