Have I made a terrible mistake going blonde? (With pics)

Just went from brown-ish to blonde a few days ago and I am really not sure I like it!! I am seriously considering to go back to the hairdresser and dye it darker again.

Mumsnetters, please give me your honest opinion! Should I stay blonde or go back to brown?

PS: I am terribly un-photogenic, so please forgive the odd facial expression in both images

The blonde looks fantastic!! I’m a brunette and have gone a little lighter over the years, but blonde really doesn’t suit me. You look great blonde.

Blonde is nice but it’s a bit more dull and housewifey
But you can definitely carry. It’s colours off it’s more what look you want to pull off

Blonde! I thought the blonde was a model too.

Both look great. I do love the cut in the brunette picture though.

I think you look great, you can always go back at a later date if you get fed up with the blond.

Brunette, can’t help but think people are saying blonde because the photo is nicer, but the brunette suits you better

I know this is an old thread, but I think that the blonde would look nicer after another salon session to brighten up the slight brassy tone near your roots. It’s nice but I can see why it might feel like a work in progress and not quite ‘there’ yet, making you prefer the brown.
