Help! Do I look like a twit?

DP has just informed me that he has arranged swanky birthday drinks for me tomorrow. Have delved into my wardrobe in a bit of a mad panic.

Are people going to look at me with raised eyebrows...? I know most people will not give a tiny rats behind.

This is a little more daring than I would usually wear... I need reassurance or alternatively an intervention before I wear this out of the house.

Will obviously wear magic pants to keep the jiggly bits in... Blush I am also aware I am slovenly and the mirror is filthy...

Help! Do I look like a twit?

Honestly? It's a bit much. Sorry!

DonkeyOaty · 09/07/2016 17:23

No you don't look like a twit

You have a lovely figure

Enjoy your swanky drinks, and happy birthday tomorrow!

JackieAndHyde4eva · 09/07/2016 17:23

You look fantastic!! I'm very jealous. I wish i could wear something like that. Havent the belly for it Grin (or rather too much belly for it!)

PointlessUsername · 09/07/2016 17:24

I think it's nice.

Would be too much if you had a massive cleavage.

Paddingtonthebear · 09/07/2016 17:24

You have a fabulous figure! But I think the dress is a bit too low cut.

hideouspain · 09/07/2016 17:24

nice vest top?

Fuzzypeggy · 09/07/2016 17:24

The v is just too low imo. I'm not against dresses like that where you can't wear a bra but that one is cut very low to the waist and I'm not sure I like that style. But if you like it and feel comfortable then wear it. You have a good figure for it

Doinmummy · 09/07/2016 17:25

Have you got it on back to front Wink . As long as you don't pop out of it , I think it's fine .

MuchasSmoochas · 09/07/2016 17:25

Yes it is daring. You've got the figure for it. Honestly I think it's a bit risqué however I saw someone wearing something like this once and she looked fab, kept hair and eye makeup quite natural and then big red lips.

pippinandtog · 09/07/2016 17:25

You look lovely, but, gosh, is it definitely on the right way round?

Costacoffeeplease · 09/07/2016 17:25

nice vest top?

Seriously?

You look great

NerrSnerr · 09/07/2016 17:26

I think you look lovely. If I had your figure I would wear that.

TheyOnceSaid · 09/07/2016 17:26

You look nice

hideouspain I don't see a vest top!

Fuzzypeggy · 09/07/2016 17:27

Doinmummy has nailed it for me, I couldn't work out why I didn't like the cut so low, but that's it, it does look like it might be back to front. I think i would prefer it backwards

nilbyname · 09/07/2016 17:27

I love it- suits you very much!

But I would wear that out to a club/bar where I wouldn't be seated ask think seated it night gape and show? If you won't be seated then wear it with aplomb!

nilbyname · 09/07/2016 17:27

As I think...

MummyIsMyFavouriteName · 09/07/2016 17:27

You are suggesting you need control pants?!?!? If I looked like you do in that dress, I would never take it off.

It depends where you are going for your drinks as to whether that's too much.

pippinandtog · 09/07/2016 17:27

Cross- posted with doinmummy.

OurBlanche · 09/07/2016 17:27

Your birthday?

Your figure?

Fuck yes! Wear the damn thing and enjoy yourself. They are made to be worn not panicked and pondered over.

Shoes are a nice touch too.

ADogCalledLamb · 09/07/2016 17:28

I like it, I'd wear black heels and some statement/chunky jewellery.

Go for it!

crayfish · 09/07/2016 17:28

You look amazing but that's quite daring. I would feel very exposed but it's not something I would dare buy in a million years, you obviously did buy it so maybe it's a style you are more comfortable in?

If you are then go for it! If you think you might feel uncomfortable then maybe choose something else. You do look great though.

Honestly? I don't like it. You have a great figure though but IMO it's a bit ridiculous and I mean that in a kind way. Any other options?

flanjabelle · 09/07/2016 17:33

Your figure is fab, absolutely fabulous, but.. I don't like the dress. It just doesn't quite look right. Maybe a vest top underneath might work. Do you have one in a similar colour? Or even a really bright colour?

KoalaDownUnder · 09/07/2016 17:34

I agree with Choose, to be completely honest.

You have a figure that could pull off anything. This dress just looks like part of it is missing. Sad
