Life is shit, husband just left, got a girls night out Saturday to drink my sorrows away, is this outfit too much? I'm thinking along the lines of look what your missing you bastard but I don't want to look like I'm for hire either!

You can wear what you like and what makes you happy. BUT - yes it's slutty and yes you'll attract the right wrong kind of attention.

For me, I'd pop a silky black camisole under there, but I'm a prude.

ThatsMyStapler · 18/05/2016 09:27

what pink said x

Queenbean · 18/05/2016 09:27

Slutty is a term for sleeping around. So not the right question really.

Sorry but the outfit is dreadful, those very low cut tops only work with a quite flat chest and no bra on display. Having your bra out screams tacky.

Sorry about your husband, you deserve a night out but could definitely wear better. We can help you to find something - what size and height are you? A busty 12 from the pic?

HooseRice · 18/05/2016 09:28

Slutty is such an awful word. I'd pop a cami on too.

If you really wanted to wear that outfit you certainly have the figure to pull it off.

Have a fantastic night out whatever you wear.

MyBreadIsEggy · 18/05/2016 09:28

What's the bottom like?? Is it a jumpsuit type thing?? Or a dress? Or just a top?
If it's a jumpsuit ie. Full length trousers at the bottom then yes, I would wear it.
If it's a dress, then I would only wear it if it's way below the knee.
If it's a top, then I wouldn't wear it at all.

HuckfromScandal · 18/05/2016 09:29

Do not do it
It's not a good look and you are very definitely not sending the right vibes out

MyBreadIsEggy · 18/05/2016 09:29

Posted too soon.....either way I wouldn't wear a bra - just plenty of tit tape to prevent any accidental flashing.
I'm not exactly blessed of nork though Blush

VioletBam · 18/05/2016 09:30

Slutty? Really? Pink Mumsnet isn't a place to call other women slutty because of what they're wearing OR a place to call their outfits slutty.

NoCapes · 18/05/2016 09:31

Would you wear the bra? Because that looks ridiculous Hmm

Mummyoftwo91 · 18/05/2016 09:32

Thanks for your input everyone, it's a midi dress and stops just below the knee, I'm not actually blessed at all in the boob department that is a very heavy padded bra ha! Without the bra i feel self conscious, I do however have very long hair that would probally cover a lot more than u actually see in this picture

It's funny that if you had a cleavage you tit taped top similar to yours with no bra, it would look better than bra on show (Rita or's, J-Lo etc but not sure how it works irl). How you have it just looks like you want people so see your underwear and it's a bit like when you wear specific underwear for the bedroom if that makes sense

RedLipsBigWings · 18/05/2016 09:33

Your figure looks amazing.

The outfit looks low class and tacky.

ghostoftheMNchicken · 18/05/2016 09:33

It is a bit much. Looks a bit like you've made a mistake - top's come undone or you forgot your camisole.

But I really, really wish people would stop using the word 'slut' or 'slutty' in a derogatory sense (or at all really). It's a really horrible word.

timelytess · 18/05/2016 09:34

Love, don't.
As my grandmother used to say, "If you put all your goods in the window, they've no need to come into the shop."

Mummyoftwo91 · 18/05/2016 09:34

Yeah I was thinking of buying a bra that's more like a bralet top to wear under neath and go with that whole underwear as outer wear style thing

AmberNectarine · 18/05/2016 09:34

Visible bra is never a good look. The sexiest look is the effortless one - glossy hair, hint of cleavage, form fitting but not sprayed on outfit and well applied (but not trowelled on) make-up.

If you did run into your husband, you'd want to be looking glowing and as though you're doing much better without him, not like you're desperately trying to attract his or anyone else's attention.

QueenofallIsee · 18/05/2016 09:35

you can't really wear a bra with that - tit tape and go with it as it was meant to be worn or wear a different dress I think

You will look fab, so rock it!

notagiraffe · 18/05/2016 09:36

It does send a message that you are desperate to be noticed and desired (which of course you will be, looking that good in those clothes.) But do you want that, really? or do you want to send out a message that you are very high status and a man would need to seriously impress you these days to get any closer. That way you won't attract toads who help you lower your self esteem.

Mummyoftwo91 · 18/05/2016 09:36

I never usually wear outfits like this tight and low cut but I've lost over a stone in 2 weeks from my husband leaving and I thought fuck it

OP posts:
Yourface · 18/05/2016 09:36

You've got an amazing figure. Slutty is a concept I don't recognise, so I can't comment on that. However, from a fashion point of view it's def a no bra lots of tit tape outfit. However, I think you are too well endowed for that. So I am not sure it is the right outfit for your fantastic figure. If you do wear it, don't wear a Cami you might as well wear something else entirely than wear that. If you do wear it, wear it with confidence. Head high and send out intimidating vibes else wise you might get too much attention from backwards twats and it will help keep them at bay!

MyFirstMyLastMyEverythingBagel · 18/05/2016 09:37

I like it OP you look fab, your figure is 👌🏻 however I think you should try it with tit tape rather than bra Smile enjoy your night

Piemernator · 18/05/2016 09:37

Have fun but recent break ups can lead to decisions people regret. You will attract attention and no doubt about it. Should women be able to wear what they want and men not make assumptions, of course but they will make assumptions.

If you want a sweaty accountant/bricklayer/chef/etc to attempt to flirt with you thinking he is in with a chance then go for it.

I showed my DH your pic he said 'nice to meet you both'

MiddleClassProblem · 18/05/2016 09:38

You'd be better with a bandeau top

GrumpyOldBag · 18/05/2016 09:38

Just No. Don't do it. Show yourself more respect.
