You know how some people refer to Primark as Primarni?? Well......

DH is convinced that the word Primarni is a cross between Primark and Armani (as in Giorgio Armani, posh suits etc).

But I always thought it was a combination of Primark and Marni (fashionista favourite). Who is right?

I have always though it was Armani. I heard it first off my aunt, who said it was so always just assumed that was right.

I've always thought same as you OP particularly as the clothes very often lean more towards a Marni style than the highly tailored Armani look. Also the urban dictionary isn't exactly a reputable citation.
