Have name changed.

How old do I look? Please be honest. I know I have a fat face :( I am having hair cut on Saturday. Feel like I look frumpy. WDYT? What would you do? My hair is naturally straight.

You look a similar build to me, but prettier! Grin

I have a pixie crop, you have a lovely face, funky glasses, all hiden away by your heavy fringe.

F*ck it and go pixie, you won't look back, just get some hair putty to ruffle it up and lots of funky texture

PoorlyAgain · 04/02/2015 20:29

You have a beautiful complexion! I would say mid-late 20's? But I'm rubbish at guessing people's ages so please don't be offended if you're younger!
Do you ever curl your hair or flick the bottom outwards?

Lardylassnomore · 04/02/2015 20:30

You have lovely clear skin

EyelinerQueen · 04/02/2015 20:32

I'd guess 28?

Your hair looks nice. You definitely suit your fringe. I wouldn't go for a pixie as personally I think fuller faces look much better when framed by hair.

Maybe have your bob inverted a bit at the back? Something like this?

NoArmaniNoPunani · 04/02/2015 20:32

Late 30's? I think a funky crop would look lovely on you.

LoveVintage · 04/02/2015 20:32

Am not going to guess your age for fear of insulting but I suspect you are a good bit older than you look. Your hair is lovely but very face framing. I too think you could do a spikey, ruffled pixie cut.

Lardylassnomore · 04/02/2015 20:32

Try a feathered Bob?

nottheOP · 04/02/2015 20:33

I'd hazard a guess at 40 but rubbish at guessing.

I think you could use a bit of volume in your hair. Thinking meg Ryan in you got mail. Off your face a bit.

When you have a full fringe & specs your face starts at your nose.

You do have lovely skin.

WipsGlitter · 04/02/2015 20:33

It's a bit safe, straight and helmet-like. I'd go longer and lose the fringe.

molesbreath · 04/02/2015 20:34

Early 40s.

It's hard to tell from one snap shot in time, but I think the acrylic looking 'fun' jumper adds to the frumpiness look.

Asymmetric Bob with one side very much shorter than the other ?

And whatever your real age its your outlook on life that counts, you look like a fun smiley person to be with

puds11isNAUGHTYnotNAICE · 04/02/2015 20:34

30-34, I'm terrible at age guessing. I think a sharp bob and heavy fringe would suit you Smile

piggychops · 04/02/2015 20:37

Early to mid 30s . Fantastic complexion, but hidden behind a curtain of hair. You need layers and texture in your hairstyle, say a choppy crop.

afghanda · 04/02/2015 20:37

If I saw you in the school playground with all my mum friends, I'd assume you were a bit younger than me, and I'm mid-late 30s. Maybe 30ish? And I think either pixie crop or one of those bobs that's longer at the front.

hmc · 04/02/2015 20:38

40?

I don't see any point in giving you a flattering low 'safe' guess because you want honest reactions. That said, I hope you aren't insulted.

You could be younger because your skin looks smooth and relatively unlined - but I said 40 because weight is kind of ageing (I say that as someone currently carry excess pounds!)

oldladyhair · 04/02/2015 20:38

Complexion = good foundation.

I appreciate the comments. I will come back with my age after some more replies.

I am thinking about having my hair a little shorter and with more of a side fringe. My forehead is huge so fringe is necessary. I fear my face (and body) are too fat for a pixie cut.

Honestly early 40's however your skin looks great and you have nice even features.

I don't think you should go any shorter with your hair as that will make you look older, grow it out a bit and then you have more options.

scarletforya · 04/02/2015 20:41
  1. I think you should grow out the fringe to soften it a bit. Maybe layers through the ends and sides. Depends how thick it is and how high your forehead is!

I don't think the blunt fringe and ends are flattering on your face!

MrsTawdry · 04/02/2015 20:43

I like your hair as it is! But I do see that you would look lovely with a pixie cut...you can't see enough of your face even though your hair takes a bob very well. I think you're about 38.

Likeaninjanow · 04/02/2015 20:45

Late 30s. I don't think you'd suit a pixie, but a side parting with long side-sweeping fringe would look good.

RiverTam · 04/02/2015 20:45

well, you have very good skin, even with foundation, I'm guessing you haven't spend 20 years smoking and drinking too much.

30ish? Maybe even younger? Not 40, I'm 43 and look waaaay older than you!

Not idea about hairdo.

scarletforya · 04/02/2015 20:48

I wouldn't go for a pixie cut but maybe one of these: mid length

MsVestibule · 04/02/2015 20:48

Mid 30s? Whatever you do, lose the heavy fringe!

BlueEyedWonder · 04/02/2015 20:48

I think you're younger than me and I'm 38.
I like your fringe. I would be careful of going shorter as I think it can make the face look fatter.

Greengardenpixie · 04/02/2015 20:49

Its hard to guess but im thinking mid to late thirties..although you have good skin.

oldladyhair · 04/02/2015 20:49

Sorry to drip feed. This is my hair just after it was last cut, so my fringe is not so long (it desperately needs a trim). I was very unwell here so I look very tired and pale (just come out of hospital).

I really appreciate your honesty.
