hi everyone does anyone have a rough idea of how long uv credit are taking to backdate, I did a claim last year for my son and uv credit responded the same day that I let them no and I got the back pay 3 days later but they seem to taking abit longer this time

I have the same scan date as your for MR, and I also did a new claim on July and rejected 😂 fingers crossed. X

They’re taking forever! I informed them of the change on 20th jan, child verified on 29th, agreed to backdate any pay on 5th and still waiting! I had a message in my journal earlier saying they were going to call me but didn’t 🤷🏻‍♀️

getting absolutely sick to death of it all now

I’m not sure,I’ve always worked full time so maybe not 🤷🏻‍♀️ I’ve left messages under the work coach option and the payment option and just get ignored, they just send a message once in a blue moon when it’s a slow day in the office I think 😂 it’s annoyed me more today that they said they were going to call and didnt

I’m not sure if it’s taking so long because they’re going bk 20mths now from when I first applied for dla and got rejected, only won at court and they’re adding carers element and the disability element so may be why it’s dragging out so long 🤷🏻‍♀️

So I’ve heard conflicting things about uc, I’ve been told because my child mrc and hrm he would get the higher disabled child element but I’ve also been told that he would qualify for the lowest rate, does anyone know here know?

Just called them this morning to provide them with my sons next couple of hospital appointments and his application still hasn’t been picked up yet. His is a NC scan date 02/02 but on some of the FB forums I’m seeing end of jan and even beg of feb NC being awarded. Fingers crossed not much longer I waited 23 weeks for my daughters when I applied so anything is better than that wait lol

I received a call on the 17/2 from the DM asking if I can resend some evidence as something happened and the stuff I sent had been damaged.
I sent it same day with next day delivery
How long does it normally take to land back on the DM desk??

Seen one for 19/08 thats been done so hopefully not long, I want to phone but they are so unhelpful its prob not worth it.

I think it’s the luck of the draw tbh and last time I phoned u could physically tell she was scripted so I’m thinking it will get done when it gets done probably be a decline anyway so saving my energy for tribunal x

I don’t know if this helps anyone out but, I just phoned up as I got annoyed with waiting so long for MR decision, I pressed option 4 and made a complaint they put me through to a lady who was lovely. My complaint basically was how come I’m still waiting for a MR since Oct when my other child was 29dec and done by early Jan. she said there is different and separate departments for MRs that they go to, such as a MR for a New claim, or MR for renewal or MR for COC. There separate along with the age groups that get selected, this kind of makes sense as 1 was for renewal and otherwas for NC and Agian one is 4 and the other 11. The renewal MR was quicker than the original new claim I am waiting for, this is why some people are getting done quicker then others, hope this helps and it’s really annoying how it just not done properly, hope everyone gets the outcome the deserve 🙂🤞

That kind of makes sense as to why some are getting done much quicker than others, I just done a MR for a renewal also for 11yo, can i ask was yours a complete decline or not agreeing with rates? I'm just wondering if that makes a difference aswell, i done MR because I don't believe they've given correct rates plus I had further evidence which came the same day a decision was made so obviously too late to send in. The wait times ive seen for MRs range from weeks to months it's crazy.

Just phoned up to see if there's an update as Im waiting for a report to be posted. So I can use to extra evidence. The lovely lady on the phone said iv been waiting 6 months and she will try and get it push to be done. I did say there wasnt a rush as I know they are extremely busy.

Mr scan date 4/9/25. Still waiting. Hopefully not too much longer.
