Please feel free to add your scan date and whether it's a new claim/mandatory reconsideration/change of circumstances or renewal.
New claims (NC) - people are being told the wait time has increased to 25 weeks! I would say most are done before this though around the 20 week mark?
Mandatory reconsideration (MC) and Change of circumstances (COC) is around 20-25 weeks.
Renewals tend to be between 15-20 weeks.
If you disagree with the outcome of an MR you can appeal and go to court (tribunal)
Scan date is the date DLA scan your application forms on to their system, if you downloaded your application forms then this will be from when your award will be backdated from. If you called up for forms then the date on those is the date yours will be backdated from.
If successful and claiming universal credit (UC) please update them as this will entitle you to disabled child element adding extra to your award.

I sent extra evidence signed for delivery by royal mail on 25th February, on 26th Feb they signed to recieve it. I just phoned and they have no record of it, they are scanning post from 14th March I was just told so no idea where my extra evidence is. Was told phone back next week see if it has turned up by then, but not to worry as new claims are taking the full 25 weeks 🙄

COC scan date 18/10/24

NC SD 21/11. Told yesterday that it's with a DM and to call on Friday as should have a decision by then.

Received text last Wednesday 19/3/25 to day with DM.
Letter this morning confirming LRC award

I know I should be grateful my child is receiving anything but I'm also upset and frustrated. I really thought she'd get MRC I know of other children who receive that because their parents lied on the forms. I didn't exaggerate my child's daily needs and so they say she isn't eligible. The letter states her night time needs are no different to any other child her age without disability which definitely is not true but hey ho. Need to move on now.

Does anyone know how long from decision it takes to get backpayment rang up yesterday NC SD 12/11 decision made yesterday getting 3k just wondering how long it takes to go in account x

I sent my form in end of December scan date 6/1/2025 new claim they saying don't ring till it's been past 25weeks long waite

3-5 working days. So i would say thursday/Friday x

Renewal forms sent off today next day signed for. Sons old claim ends on 30th July. Hopefully they will renew it in time.

Do a M/R so you can have another Dm over look the whole claim & is he award may increase x

Rang this morning still nothing.

NC SD 21/11 called up 19/03 it wasn't allocated, sent new evidence 21/03.

Renewal due 22nd June. Sent forms off 6weeks ago x the wait is torturing. I sent so much evidence off but just still nerve wracking x
