Hello everybody, I have made a new thread please put in your scan date, hopefully we hear some good news this month. please be kind and feel free to share scan date, entitlement award and what child is diagnosed with as others in similar position can feel uplifted in these stressful times. 💐

New claims (NC) are taking ‘around’ 20 weeks.
Mandatory Reconsideration (MR) & Change Of Circumstances (COC) between 20-25 weeks approx.
Renewals between 15-20 weeks approx
tribunals: when you disagree with MR and are considered by a court

scan date (SD) date form was scanned on the system and counting weeks for decision

original claim date: date you called up for the forms and you will be backdated

UC : universal credit
DWP: department of work and pensions
DM: decision maker; the person who assesses each claim and awards/decline a case

number for an update (0800) 121-4600

currently we are beginning of July and some last June dates! xx

Sd 3/7 rang today and have been awarded middle care low mobility for my 13 year old diagnosed tourettes hypamobility anxiety and suspected ADHD evidence sent diagnosis letter, letter from school and my statement of care needs and referral to orthopedics so happy xx

Sd 8/7 new claim. Told myself I'd call Friday, but I know I'll absolutely call tomorrow even though I'm sure there won't be an update

SD 21/06. New claim. Currently waiting for school report to be received back and scanned on.

Renewal SD 6/8 (for DD)

New claim SD 10/9 (for DS)

MR 23/7. I don’t think I can be bothered to call up for the statement of reasons now. I remembered the main ones. I guess I could but I’m full of overwhelm and I just don’t have capacity I don’t think.

A little random but If you are accepted and back pay it rewarded do they have a set day they pay dla and the back pay? And would they pay it all on that day ?

@PollyH3 We are same date as you. Called earlier and were given the usual about it taking up to 20 weeks 🙄

You normally get back payment 3-5 days after it's been awarded and every 4 weeks.. usually a set day it will say what day on the letter you receive x
